Locations

Ozw0hdt.png Traveler's Rest is a small city when compared to others in the Shifting Expanse, but it still has its fair share of notable locations, both within the city limits and in the surrounding area.
PmL0WY9.png .. City Layout
The entire city of Traveler's Rest spreads out from the central Waypoint in no particular order. Cobblestone streets and canals wind through loosely-defined neighborhoods, creating almost a maze of roads, alleys, and lanes. Luckily the city's eclectic architecture makes navigation via landmarks easy.
lightning_2.png .. The Waypoint
A towering sandstone spire that lies at the center of Traveler's Rest. The Waypoint is a natural formation that has been converted into municipal offices over the years. The First Five have their offices and hearing chamber here, and so do other city officials.
r7wciHt.png .. Harbor and Airfields
Some of the busiest places in the city. Always surrounded by a crowd of busy sailors and dockworkers, these are the places where most visitors get their first taste of Traveler's Rest. The street that goes from the harbor to the city center, Harbor Boulevard, is full of shops of all kinds.
kiLSTuX.png .. Shadow Deeps
A maze of claustrophobic caves running below the city. The upper levels serve as part of the city's sewers and as storehouses, but the lower tunnels are mysterious and poorly mapped.
S4e23WV.png .. Inner Gardens
The gardens and parks that fill the city. They are carefully tended to, filled with flowers, trees, and grass that makes them perfect for taking a walk in. This wonder is made possible by a resident nature spirit who makes a zone of fertile soil around her home.
z75WTQA.png .. The Borderwood
The zone of fertile soil expands quite a ways outside of the main city, forming a deep woods around the city that eventually gives way to the Shifting Expanse's natural desert climate. The dragons who live here are mostly hermits, though they do enjoy the occasional cup of tea and conversation.
