Corona Village

Located deep within the Starwood Stand, in a valley between a river and a cliff-face. Corona Village remains very small because of how hard it is to access. The moral of the town is 'be a good neighbor' - be friendly, or at least respectful to everyone - including the forest.

Leaders

Shannara | Princess
The heart of Corona Village. She's usually quite friendly and cheerful, hoping to make sure everyone feels welcome in her village. She's often indecisive though, and fearful of making mistakes, so she leaves most of the actual 'leading' to her adoptive mother Annashi and her mate Jerle.

Annashi | Matriarch
Shannara's Guard, she also watches over the village to keep her daughter safe and happy. Had a rough cubhood growing up, so she strives to make sure no hatchling goes unloved in her home again.

Jerle | Captain of the Guard
Captain of the Guard, he organizes the security patrols around the village, as well as the hunting parties, and schedules for training new recruits. Outwardly appears cold and aloof, but his warriors and family know he's actually a big softie.

Guards

Luciferin | Leviathan Warrior
The cool-headed leader of the Leviathan team. He enjoys finding shadowy corners to disappear into so he can watch the going-ons around him without being noticed. He's not sure when the spectral hands began haunting him, but so long as they're not homicidal he's agreed to let them stay.

Rayquaza | Leviathan Warrior
The second member of the Leviathan team, she fights primarily with ranged weapons and magic, keeping a running commentary in code to both alert her partners to shifts in a battle and to annoy their enemies to distraction. She's also very good at annoying everyone outside of battles, leading to occasional scuffles.

Yuuei | Leviathan Warrior
The youngest of the Leviathan team, Yuuei is still a highly respected swordsmaster despite his size and youth. He's currently courting the vampiric nest-ground guard Anae, and is the adoptive father of the orphaned Asha.

Anae | Nursery Guard
A vampire who once stalked the Sunbeam Ruins, she was chased from her old hunting grounds and nearly starved before Yuuei found her and took her to Corona. Various dragons now donate blood willingly to help her, and she's slowly learning to trust them. Is fascinated by the childish innocence of the hatchlings in the nursery, and takes her job as their guard very seriously.

Zephi | Town Guard
Zelk's "sister", she was sent to complete his mission, but was so baffled by his new demeanor and Nara's openness that she decided to stick around to enjoy the novelty Corona provided. Jerle is trying to teach her that maiming is preferable to murder with mixed results.

Civilians

Starlo | Artificer
Specializes in forging enchanted jewelry. He was renowned for the legendary-level enchanted blades he once forged, but he takes far more pleasure in the variety of little crafts with unusual small enchantments.

Alphie | Cuddlebug
Lost when he was just a hatchling, he was found and brought to Corona by Skjot and Thing. Is extremely tactile, and will happily cuddle anyone that's feeling down or needs a hug or an ear.

Zelk | Former Spy
Sent by his original clan to infiltrate the secluded village and plunder it for artifacts, he eventually began to love the village, and confessed the truth of his mission. He's now trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life.

Asha | Child
Adopted daughter of Yuuei and Anae. Very self-conscious about her eyes, with very low self-esteem. Her parents would happily maim and/or kill anyone who makes her cry, though it's a little difficult when she's the one upsetting herself.

Seidr | Retired Showman
Seidr was once a famous travelling magician, performing tricks through sleight-of-hand to wow his audiences, while keeping his acts of true magic hidden. When he retired and settled down in Corona with his family, he thought he would miss the travelling life, but now he delights in being a doting grandfather.

Voleva | Seer
Voleva was born to a regular family with no mystic inclinations. It took many years for her parents to realize that she did not simply have an excessively overactive imagination, but that she was in fact Seeing details of past, present, and future, unable to differentiate between the them.

Mani | Moon-Witch Seer
Mani and her twin sister Sol were hatched under the light of a powerful blood moon. And while Sol's powers remained small- granting her the ability to lay simple charms upon objects- Mani's continued to grow and grow as she aged. The strength of her powers also waxes and wanes with the cycles of the moon.

Martyn | Loving Husband
Martyn often feels like an outsider within his family- caught between a stage performer father-in-law, uncontrolled seer mother-in-law, and now two sons with completely different Sight powers. Despite his insecurities, he still loves them all fiercely, and takes comfort in knowing he is loved in return.

Hope | Precious Baby
Hope was born with strange eyes, and was cast from the nest almost immediately for this perceived defect. However, he gained control of the ability to see 10 seconds into the future, and managed to survive on his own until he was taken in by Martyn and the family of mages and magicians.

Corona University

Gabby was the mayor's daughter before she set out with the party on an Adventure to protect Maplebark. Due to her highborn education she originally posed as a Wizard, but when her friends were threatened years of politely pent up rage burst forth, and Gabby quickly discovered a fondness for the axe. Being sold a cursed axe was not part of the plan however, but that's not going to stop her...
