[i][As you wander through the seemingly abandoned library, you find an old book. You dust off the cover and you find this:][/i] [b][center][u][b]The Book of the Obsidian Empire[/b][/u] By: Unknown[/center][/b] [center][b]The Book of the Obsidian Empire - Chapter I: Origins[/b][/center] [i]“Fate leads the willing and drags along the unwilling.” – Seneca[/i] When the brightest two stars that could be seen across the sky, line up, a light flashed across the starry sky. The light that flashed upon the sky created a dragon that was black as obsidian. As he set foot upon the snowy grounds he was created upon, a dragon sprang from the obsidian that he unknowingly created as he took his first step. The scales of it were also the black he had, and stars seemed to move on their scales. He called them “Obsidian” after the rock they were created from. As he trudged upon the cold wasteland, he created six new followers. They were the same color as him but seemed to be different breeds. Nevertheless, he named them all “Obsidian”. But, he could not create any longer, he had already used up most of his magic. And so he created a home for his fellow subjects. Out of thin air, he shaped a beautiful spire that reached the clouds. With shelter, he and his subjects could finally rest. Over time, researchers have found that they are off the coast of The Southern Icefield in a small island. They believe that there are "true gods" that are more powerful than the deities, and sacrifices rebels painfully to the "true gods". [center][b]The Book of the Obsidian Empire - Chapter II: Flight[/b][/center] [i]“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller [/i] The Obsidian Empire may have been small, but their flight consists of many. The Void flight was created when many dragons had the vision of the dragon of obsidian, and called him Deity. As they got a better sense of where Deity was through visions, they eventually found him and declared him the flight’s deity. They named the small island “The Void” after their flight. The dragons are actually immortal, but they only cast the immortal spell on members they know won't betray them. They kill the ones that are rebels and they put their skull on the pile of skulls of the dragons they've killed. And on every night where the moon is the fullest, they destroy the skulls and sacrifice them to the "true gods". Over time, they made small libraries and houses to home the members of the Void flight. She has a black hood and is an XYZ (Purple/Grape/Flint) and her genes are Petals/Shimmer/Underbelly. She has an eye type of Shadow Common.[/columns] [i][That's strange...][/i] [center][b]The Book of the Obsidian Empire - Chapter IV: Relationships with other Flights/Clans[/b][/center] The Obsidian Empire is hidden to the other flights, only some parts of the Shadow and Ice flight have allied with them. The Seafoam Army is currently allied with The Obsidian Army.
