I have a tendency to take a ton of pictures when something catches my attention, and kinda thought a few of you might also enjoy photography. So, a made this thread mainly to be a 'personal favorites' gallery, comprised solely of photographs that I've taken in recent years.

He's very gentle, and can usually be found wherever Reggie tends to stay. [font=georgia][size=5][i][b]Other Animals & Insects[/b][/i][/size][/font] [i]I often find a lot of beautiful and unusual critters during the summer. Some of the especially interesting ones being those in the bug category. Here, I will be posting some personal favorites -and might even need help identifying some of them on occasion. :)[/i] [font=georgia][size=5][i]Insects[/i][/size][/font] [font=georgia][size=4][i][b]Polyphemus Moth[/b] I've found several of these beautiful moths before, and up until recently, thought they were a type of Emperor moth (still very close).[/i][/size][/font] [img]https://i.imgur.com/EEYrjDA.jpg[/img] [img]https://i.imgur.com/vDsPhtR.jpg[/img] [img]https://i.imgur.com/4CUH4TZ.jpg[/img] [font=georgia][size=4][i][b]Polyphemus Moth Caterpillar[/b] I'm not entirely sure what type of caterpillar this is but, I believe it's either the larva of a Polyphemus Moth or possibly a Luna moth. I find them quite often, especially around certain maple and oak trees. The one pictured below is grown.[/i][/size][/font] [img]https://i.imgur.com/kjBUGFA.jpg[/img] [img]https://i.imgur.com/FwYLNtP.jpg[/img] [font=georgia][size=4][i][b]Tomato Hornworm[/b] This brightly-colored caterpillar is actually the larva of a large moth, known as the Five-spotted hawk moth. The caterpillar's size can range anywhere from 3 to 5 inches, before spinning a cocoon. Notably found where goldenrod is present. [font=georgia][size=5][i][b]Plants & Flowers[/b][/i][/size][/font] [i]For as long as I can remember, I've always loved flowers and the natural world (which is part of the reason why I take so many pictures). A flowers' bloom may last anywhere from a few hours, to maybe even a few weeks but, a photograph can last for years. Wow! Absolutely gorgeous! you have a gift! Although I'm a bit timid around snakes, these noodles are adorable! are they your pets? or?
