She was nicknamed Conniveo by locals - meaning 'to lie dormant' or 'be tightly closed', referring to the eyes. Stories tell of dragons disappearing around the statue, in the blink of an eye. These stories, however, were never confirmed. [b]Appearance[/b]: The statue is most likely made out of marble. It appears to be a female Pearlcatcher, but her wings are more bird-like than for a normal Pearlcatcher. She has the ability to transform herself into a dragon which resembles a large female Fae. When she's in her Fae-form, she seduces young dragons, wrapping them in her webbed wings and eating them. Her webs can be strong enough to catch small birds and bats, and she has no problem devouring them when she's hungry and doesn't have the energy to transform. [b]Appearance[/b]: In her original spider form, she looks similar to the [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nephila_inaurata][i]Nephila inaurata[/i][/url] - the red-legged golden orb-weaver spider. In her Fae-form, Jorogumo appears larger than most Faes, which gives her the opportunity to catch Faes, Spirals, and smaller Skydancers, Tundras and Wildclaws. Her wings appear to be made out of cobwebs, and several fire-breathing spiders can be seen crawling around over the webs. Jorogumo seems to be able to control these spiders. The few times she's sighted, are when she leads travelers astray, usually in the opposite direction of where they're going. Despite causing frustration and confusion, Virva has yet to display any violent tendencies and usually leaves some kind of compensation for her actions- usually shiny trinkets or pretty plants. Overall, it is advised to be on guard if you encounter child-like laughter or eerie blue flames. [b]Appearance[/b]: She seems to have two main forms. One is a bundle of blue and purple flames, usually in the vague shape of a dragon. The other is a sapphire, cyan, and purple Nocturne covered in runes and surrounded by blue flames. She seems to glow, and has what looks like an anglerfish bulb hanging from her forehead. Those are the only features on her dragon form that she seems to keep; every sighting of her has a subtle difference in appearance. She was dormant for at least a century, hidden in what once was a laboratory, before an explorer woke her. After, she followed a set of routines that mostly centered on trying to restore the lab, locating her creator, or helping out those who came to stay near her home. Eventually, she found what was assumed to be her creator's pearl, and this led to her becoming unresponsive until her disappearance. [b]Appearance[/b]: Made in the image of a female Pearlcatcher. Her body is made out of a tarnished golden metal, with her wings being made of some sort of flexible material printed with a Seraph pattern. It is unknown what her mane and tail are made of, though it's likely some sort of synthetic fur. There are many gaps along her body for more realistic movement, though part of said ability seems to be due to an enchantment. Time has not been kind to her; there are many damaged places along her body, exposing the inner workings, and her wings are worn and torn in places. It seems that whatever allowed Zuri to move her wings was either stuck or damaged. Half of her face was damaged as well, though someone gave her a mask to cover it. They can't be killed, and this seems to be caused by the lack of a soul. For some unknown reason - probably because of their undead state - they seem to have a natural pull to wandering souls, mainly malevolent ones. In general, Death Walkers are quite docile, but their demeanour can change to aggressive without any real indication. They can be clever and cunning, and more patient than one can imagine. They prefer to feast on the blood of living dragons by sucking them dry, but they will settle for some fresh meat or fish if they have to. Although they prefer a solitaire life, they sometimes group up with a clan. They don't tend to stay for too long, for their aggressive behaviour and unnatural appetite can cause quite some tension in a clan. Some lucky Death Walkers find themselves a mate, and they will dedicate themselves completely to them. In most cases, this will be another Death Walker or undead dragon. However, on rare occasions, they'll find love within a normal dragon. Unfortunately, because of the undead state of the Death Walker, a relationship with the latter almost always ends in pain for both parties involved. [b]Appearance[/b]: Their wings lost all skin, revealing the muscles and blood vessels underneath. Their body started deteriorating, leaving a green rot in its wake. Bones protrude from their spines, sticking out in all directions. Kind and a bit shy, looking at Starstone can immediately tell you that something about her is different. Perhaps it is the way that her wings shimmer in a way that should be impossible in the light. Perhaps it is the ever-shifting stars arrayed across her wings and scales, or the subtle movements of her body through the world, and how sometimes, her tail will go through something as if it was merely a trick of the light. This is because Starstone is not a real dragon. Not truly, anyway. She was birthed, fully-formed, from the Starstone itself, emerging from the meteor on the last day of the Starfall Celebration in a wreath of arcane magic. No one is quite sure how she came to be, or why she stayed, least of all Starstone herself, who is entirely ignorant on what being a dragon is.
