They have been known to also take in non faes on occasions. The leader Pearlwing is also a founder? Heatherscope has been allies with arcane clans for decades, especially Fallen Oaks. Plague, being Heatherscopes natural enemy has a arcane sister. This causes much confusion considering Plague has a non Heatherscope Shadow ally. Most of Heatherscope of course is fae but most is... not? This is how it happened. Long ago Heatherscope was only fae. Their identity was low and their were 200 faes hiding in caverns, all belonging to Heatherscope. The true founder was a XXX Obsidian fae, Dark Flame. He started it all and obsidian has ran through Heatherscope for as long as sorneith. After a terrible battle between the Eclyptics a Plague and Heatherscope, and 198 faes dead, including Dark Flame, the Eclyptics had won. Upon his death, Darkflame had a spell put on him. He was turned into his least favorite breed, and evil imperial! And, as if that was not enough he was given shiny scales too make him look soft. He was apart of plague now...The two remaining faes were named Pearlwing and Semardrid. Both too young to know their families together they set off to find a new home. They soon found a hollow in the forest of the tangled woods in the corner closest to Dragonhome. The area was not a magical as Heatherscope’s previous land but that was gone, it belonged to Plague. Pearlwing and Semardrid lived together for some years. After 2 years together they married and three lively faes began their journey of life. Back then Arcane and Shadow were enemies. Arcane attacked Pearlwing, Semardrid and their hatchlings determined to defeat all of Heatherscope and their reletives. Pearlwing was able to fix things but he had to pay a terrible price. The faes were named PurPur the eldest, Mystery thy middle child and Icy youngest. It was terrible, the next day Arcane, Plagues old ally attacked! Pearlwing and Semardrid could not fight the thousands of imperials. Yet the parents fought their hardest until Semardrid was near death. Pinned down a imperial was biting Semardrid’s neck. Blood oozed and Pearlwing shrieked in terror. He begged for the imperial to stop. The imperial agreed in one condition. That was of course that Shadow gave back a dragon of when Dark Flame killed a Arcane leader. Slowly Pearlwing agreed giving the imperial his oldest daughter, PurPur. Pearlwing then pleaded that his daughter not be hurt. The imperial then did something strange. He picked the tiny fae, Pearlwing up and kissed him. Pearlwing stood shocked, the imperial then spoke and explained that giving PurPur lifted the curse her dead mother Molly, the leader had given causing all of Molly’s decedents to be cursed, to be evil until her death was repaid. The imperial turned out to be a loyal shadow dragon named Faranta. As for Semardrid’s neck that was given a pure white bandage that soon turned bloodstained red. Semardrid wears it to this day in memory of the way Heatherscope bravely fought. Well her and Pearlwing anyway. PurPur grew happily in her new clan too! Now that the curse was lifted Arcane was free to do how they pleased and they became Shadow’s ally and Plague’s enemy. The dead 198 faes all were buried and a snapper named Urteau who kept family records was able to find that Semardrid and Pearlwing were both children of gods. Different of course! Urteau helped Heatherscope grow aswell and soon the clan grew big. Heatherscope still a clan with many faes also now inhabits other dragon breeds. A skydancer couple also helped Heatherscope very much by supplying food from their Arcane clan and decided to move in. Arcane repaired the loss of the 198 faes by giving a loyal nocturne, Gwenfron, who helped the clan aswell. Icy gave birth to 3 dragons one, Rabigrace who grew into a fine princess.

The Destruction

Peace at last, after a terrible war Heatherscope was ready to move on. It was small, and very un pure but Heatherscope was a home. A terrible home. Even if others thought it was a good clan, the leader himself Pearlwing definitely did not. Seeing random dragons run through his home made him uneasy. No one respected each other, there was no clan. This ‘clan’ consisted of some actual pure dragons, respected but unpure dragons, those who made most of the clan’s profit, but were unpure, and plain unpure dragons who were making a terrible living community.

Even if these dragons were his friends, Pearlwing wanted something different. But it was hard for a fae to command around a hundred dragons some imperials. It was such a reck, most people didn’t even know who half the clan was! No one had any idea how many dragons there were. Instead of a small, sacred clan in the Tangled Wood, with a great view of Dragonhome and the ocean... it was just a mess.

Pearlwing didn’t want to. He wouldn’t for any other reason... but... he had to. He and Semardrid talked. Pearlwing told her his dreams, his broken dreams. Semardrid wasn’t only Pearlwing mate and deputy, she was his soulmate. She understood and they made their decision. Many were outraged, but with the help of an actually pure imperial, Vapor they managed to what needed to be done.

Heatherscope was no more. The clan separated, and left. Those completely terrible dragons, not only having no sign of purity but also just being there we’re kicked out first. Next the profit was divided between those who made it, and those who earned the land. The pure dragons got half, and the rest found their mates and left going separate ways. Finally, the pure dragons left, with a few of not pure, but respected dragons coming with them. This is was Pearlwing wanted. She just wished he didn’t have to leave his home. He knew he had to, bad memories would come his way. But, good one would leave him as well... there was no going back.

Thinking about places his his clan could go to in the Tangled Wood was hard... Pearlwing hated traveling as he felt exposed. If only his group was just faes, they could go by the tunnels. Tunnels! His Heatherscope lived mainly underground. There was a hollow surrounding the drop down into the main area but underground was really where the clan lived. There were 11 underground sections like this. Big and beautiful tiny tunnels even for a a fae came out of each and every wall. The original Heatherscope built these, but didn’t live in them. Yet they were all killed, except for Pearlwing and Semardrid. Pearlwing and his mate found one of the meeting tunnels, as he called them and made it the clan’s home.

But now, Pearlwing knew what to do. The tunnels had 11 meeting tunnels! Not just the one that his clan lived in. There was one in each flight domain, they all connected! The one they were leaving would no longer be useable, but the others would! Yes they would have to leave his god’s land, but Shadowbinder would know it was for the better. Pearlwing told Semardrid his ideas and she thought they were wonderful. They told a few other dragons to hear what they thought. Some of the replies were positive but most warned that they would leave the clan if they left the Tangled Wood.

Not caring about losing a few clan mates who barely respected him, he and a small group left toward Dragonhome. The now small clan decided that Dragonhome was both the safest, and nicest of the options. Also, they believed they new where the meeting tunnel was. Pearlwing made sure his clan was not stupid though. He and his small group went back to the Tangled Wood meeting tunnel. They stayed there a few days to rest, and gather their energy. They had a long journey ahead of them. It also wasn’t exactly pleasant.

Pearlwing, and Semardrid agreed that the safest way to find their new home was to go through the tunnels themselves, first. It would be very hard considering they would most likely be crawling but Semardrid was a small fae... She could walk. It still would be hard, but it would be doable. The one problem was, she would not have the energy to come back. And flying out of the meeting tunnel with such scraped and sore wings would not be possible. Sending someone would not do anything unless they all went, and that was... possible? What if they dug the tunnel to be wider? Bu still Vapor would never fit, wait. Where was Vapor? Pearlwing had not noticed but Vapor, the clan’s only imperial did not go with Pearlwing’s group. She was such an important part in his plans! How could she?

Pearlwing and Semardrid joined the rest of the group to see that even more dragons had left. Devastated that they did not care, him, Semardrid, Mirabel, Ahlena, and Shasta were the only remaining dragons in their group. “Fantastic,” he thought in a sarcastic voice.

Next to him, Semardrid stood staring at the ground. She was even more sad then her mate. Semardrid was very close with all of the clan, seeing her friends abandon her would have to be very hard for her.

Without saying a word Pearlwing walked away into the woods, leaving his hopeless followers behind him. Semardrid just shook her head looking at the ground and signaled the remaining dragons to follow her. Flying high above the trees and looking over the sea at Dragonhome, Pearlwing realized what could work. He could, well he could, then, well—... it was hopeless. Hopeless, hopeless, hopeless. He no longer lead a clan. They were all just hopeless wanderers.

“And that’s where I come in.” Startled, below him hiding in the trees stood a strong looking female green dragon. Pearlwing was a bit confused, they were giant, but furry like a tundra. FurrIER than a tundra. What was this monster disguised as a dragon? How did she see Pearlwing, a much, much smaller dragon, a fae blending in with the trees?

Pearlwing couldn’t decide if it was safe to come down. What did this strange tundra looking creature want form him? “Oh it’s safe. But we need speak in private.” Said the strange ‘dragon’ reading his thoughts. Reading his thoughts? Pearlwing hadn’t said anything! Yet, this creature, she knew what he was thinking! What did she want?

“Ah, yes. And I AM, indeed a dragon. It’s a long story. And I CAN read thoughts, don’t worry please just let me talk to you.” Pearlwing hesitantly decided to speak. “Why can’t we talk here? And why can’t you just fly up if you want to speak with me?”

The strange dragon started to fly, but she didn’t leave the protection of the trees. “I could come to you. However, it’s not safe. For me anyway... You can call me Xira.”
“Well, Xira—“ Xira cut Pearlwing off. “Please, don’t speak to thin air, just think.” Pearlwing thought she was crazy.” Xira sighed. “I guess you could call me crazy.”

Pearlwing flew down. “I trust you, but.. please tell me, not to be rude but.. what are you??” Xira took a deep breath. “I. Am. Here, to help you.” Without any other words, Xira motioned for Pearlwing to come. Shrugging his shoulder, Pearlwing followed, it couldn’t get much worse.

The hunters

After quite a bit of walking Xira lead Pearlwing to a place he recognized, but couldn’t figure out what it was. “This is the original Heatherscope cave.” Pearlwing walked inside. Dried, old blood was still on the walls. Plague had only fought Heatherscope to harm the clan they didn’t even want the land. Arcane probably just wanted to join in the fight too...

“Yes, indeed Pearlwing...” Pearlwing stared at the strange dragon. How did she know this? How long had she been stalking Heatherscope? Was she just seeing his old memories? “I see you have many questions, for many days...” Pearlwing just sighed and stared. “First of all, why do you want to help me?”

Xira also sighed looking down. “Because... well, I...” Xira then looked right into Pearlwings eyes, tears coming down quickly. “There’s nothing else to do in my life.” Confused, Pearlwing sat down. “What do you mean? And what... kind, of dragon are you?”

Xira also began to sit. But they both heard a noise. Startled, Xira stood up. “Go far away, find your friends, and meet me here tomorrow night.” Pearlwing nodded. As the noise began to approach they both stared at the trees. Pearlwing said goodbye in his head and Xira nodded before flying off. Pearlwing decided that this was not a pleasant surprise, and like Xira told him flew back to where he had last seen Semardrid.

No one was there. And he knew, know one should know about what he had been up to. Pearlwing then heard the same noises approaching him, this time much louder. “Oh Janustrap...” he said out loud. Thinking quickly Pearlwing thought of his choices. He could fly away, but that would risk him being seen. Running would be slow and if this dragon, or dragons found him he would not be able to get away. Hiding in the water would be only a temporary choice and he would not be able to stay in the ocean for long. If this approaching thing, or things were going to search the old recked Heatherscope base he would not be able to last long. Hiding in the old base would surely get him found, and if he attempted to find the rest of the clan he would risk them also being hurt.

But Pearlwing could not think for long. 20, maybe 30 dragons of all breeds and flights all fully armed and geared burst through the trees. Pearlwing was extremely terrified and pushed himself against the rough ground. A leading wildclaw, purple and... no. It couldn’t be. Leading this group was her... Gladiator... it couldn’t be. Pearlwing’s own apprentice was chasing, and looking for him and Xira. Closing his eyes full of tears he stood u with his arms up, and wings down.

“YOU IDIOT!!!” All the dragon turned, staring at Pearlwing a dark figure in the sky behind him. “Hunters advance! Screamed Gladiator.” Half of the ‘Hunters’ circled Pearlwing, bows and swords almost stabbing him. The other half stared up at the night sky seeing what amazed all of the dragons. Raising their bows, the half of the hunters not circling Pearlwing Aimee at Xira, flying down at Pearlwing.

Taking a humongous chance, Pearlwing raised his wings and flew to meet Xira in the sky. “HUNTERS ATTACK!!” Screamed Gladiator. Not looking back, Pearlwing flew, and flew, and flew closer, closer, no. A hunter’s arrow pierced Pearlwing’s wing causing him to fall down to the forest floor. Xira blinked her eyes in sorrow, and flew away, abandoning Pearlwing.

Silence.

The Hunter’s Fortress

Pearlwing woke up to darkness. Trying to get up, he was not able to. Pearlwing was unable to move any part of his body besides his eyes. And it wasn’t like he could see anything. Pearlwing was chained up, stuck in what seemed to be a jail cell. “He’s awake,” called an unfamiliar voice. Groaning, Pearlwing was swallowed by pain. His torn wing hurt more than anything, but about every par for his body felt like he was dead.

Pearlwing heard footsteps. “I see...” Said Gladiator’s distinct voice. “What do we have here...” Pearlwing couldn’t hear anything after that, as heavy blocks were placed in his ears. After that Pearlwing passed out. All he felt was pain, and then waking up.

Pearlwing was in an awful situation. Why was he so stupid? Why would he give himself up, then try to escape? Such, such, an idiot. Pearlwing felt pressure removed from his ears. He could hear again. Relaxing, just a bit Pearlwing realized just how bad of a situation he was in.

“You are going to take off your binds and chains. If you do anything we don’t tell you to do, anything, you will have them immediately put back on you, and you will go right back to where you were before. Do you understand? Yes or no?” Said a mysterious voice, a new one. Pearlwing’s metal mouth cover was taken off. Taking a few deep breaths was all he could manage.

“DO YOU UNDERSTAND??!” Terror running through his body, Pearlwing made a pathetic squeak imitating a yes. “Just so you know, you are currently in fortress made up of at least 800 dragons, just counting the guards.” Continued this voice. Pearlwing stayed silent, stunned, and hopeless. “Okay.” Squeaked Pearlwing. “DO NOT SPEAK!” Screamed the voice.

Pearlwing felt very tiny just then. First, strong, sturdy, tight metal boots going up his entire legs were unlocked and taken off of him. Staying completely still Pearlwing winced as sharp feet cuffs were put on Pearlwing. Next metal gloves covering his entire arms were taken off. To replace them, handcuffs were put on him. Then a chest plate attached to the floor was detached. Lastly a neck piece, and thigh and upper arm pieces like the chest place were also taken off.

Pearlwing closed his eyes tight and realized that he had a blind fold on. The Hunters did not take it off. Pearlwing was then picked up and put on a hard, metal, moving bed like item. Pearlwing was then wheeled over to a different room.

The same voice started talking again. “You will now be guided to the wall where’s you will stand with your wings spread against the wall, arms under them, and legs spread out all against the wall. Keep your head, neck, and the rest of your body against the wall.

Pearlwing did what he was told, and giant piece of metal went over his entire body and chained him to the wall. Pearlwing’s head and neck were the only uncovered parts of his body. A neck piece like before was put on him, also attached to the wall. Pearlwing was instructed to close his eyes, which he did and the Hunter then took off his eye cover. A helmet covering every thing except for his mouth and ears was put on, and attached to the wall.

“You will now answer all of our questions. Lying will not be helpful to you.” Pearlwing then heard footsteps, and a door closing. A few minutes later the door opened and closed. Pearlwing heard a dragon sit down.

“Pearlwing...” It was Gladiator... “It didn’t have to be like this...” After about a minute of silence Gladiator spoke again. “You see, Fallen Oaks just wasn’t for me. It speaks fine, but I had no chance of being leader.” After another bit of silence Gladiator spoke one more time. “To be the warrior I wanted, a clan wouldn’t of worked. So, when your friend Xira was found around Fallen Oaks, I had to start the Hunters.” Pearlwing sighed.

“Gladiator...” Gladiator was not happy. “YOU SPEAK WHEN I TELL YOU TO, AND ADRESS ME AS I WISH TO BE ADDRESSED.” Pearlwing flinched, he had messed up again. “Sorry. First time being in a psycho hunter fortress.” Oh janustrap Pearlwing thought in his head. Had he really just spoke out of turn? Again?

This time Gladiator just laughed. “There’s no stopping you is there? Gladiator took off Pearlwing’s head piece. Blinking to adjust to the light, Pearlwing stared straight at Gladiator. She was very different. Instead of being dressed how he had last seen her, armor and weapons she was different then herself for any of the other Hunters.

Gladiator was just wearing some traveling clothes, with a bow next to her. “What do you want me to call you, princess?” Asked Pearlwing, it wasn’t like he had much of a chance surviving anyway, let alone leaving this place. “I don’t give a janustrap.” Said Gladiator.

“What I do want to know, is about Xira.” Pearlwing was then the one who was laughing. “Might want to imprison a different mentor then. I know as much as you, actually probably less.” Sighing Gladiator walked right up to Pearlwing, less than a foot away. Pearlwing spitted at her.

“Really?” Gladiator sniped it away from her face. “Tell me, what do you know?” Pearlwing laughed again. “Only that she’s claims she’s a dragon, she goes by Xira, and her only purpose is to help me because she has nothing else to do in life. Oh and she is a creepy stalker who can read my mind. Plus, she tried to save me then decided to abandon me halfway through the mission.”

Gladiator smiled. “Read minds?” Pearlwing realized, once again, he had done a bad thing. “I mean...” remembering what the other Hunter had told him Pearlwing finished his sentence winding, “Yeah.”

Gladiator sighed a happy sigh and smiled at her old leader. “Anything else? Anyway your going to contact her in the future, if you weren’t here that is.” Pearlwing didn’t speak.

“So your afraid of me. Is that it?” Pearlwing tried hard not to attack Gladiator. “Hah, you’re weak, pathetic and you never were a good leader, ‘master’. I’m surprised you aren’t dead by now. You are a pathetic fae.” Deep breaths, deep breaths. She wants me to be angry I have to resist.

“No,” relplied Pearlwing. “What do you mean, no. Why should you even trust this ‘Xira’? Join me, join me Pearlwing together we could conquer the world, live in riches and fame for discovering this creature.” Pearlwing couldn’t not attack her. “SHE IS A DRAGON!!!” Pearlwing lunged.

“AND A BETTER DRAGON THEN YOU COULD EVER BE!!!!” Even though he was smaller, he wasn’t weaker. Pearlwing bit at Gladiator and snatched her bow. “Hah! Whose pathetic now??” Pearlwing shot an arrow at his old apprentice without hesitation. He then ran. “You don’t deserve to be called, ‘a queen’.” Without looking back he screamed. “You don’t deserve to live among your race.”

There were very few small dragon in the building. Most of the dragons were Wildclaws with an occasional guardian, imperial, or skydancer. A few spirals and snappers were wandering around the halls.

All the dragons wore either traveling clothes or armor. Those who didn’t leave the building seemed to wear robes and hoods. There were few windows making escape hard but there was a skylight a few halls down. It’s my best chance, Pearlwing decided. He flew down the halls. He was getting closer, and closer. Almost there!

A dragon appeared. They were holding a club and was batting it against their arm. “What do we have here?”

Pearlwing ignored them and flew higher past them. With the last of his strength he broke through the skylight. He was now bleeding form the glass but he flew anyway. Outside wasn’t what he expected. In every direction was water. And there, flying towards him...

Back to the Tangled Wood.

Xira’s mind reached towards Pearlwing.

“Come, climb onto me. You are weak, and small. I’ll be able to carry you.”

In other circumstances Pearlwing’s Pride would deny an offer like this one, but this was t a normal circumstance. Pearlwing flew into Xira’s fluff and felt warmth.

Gladiator’s words rang in his mind, “Why should you even trust this Xira?”

Xira sighed, clearly she had been paying attention to Pearlwing’s thoughts. I’ll answer your questions later, little one. Your friends are already there.”

Xira flew long and hard for several days and nights. It haven’t occurred to Pearlwing how long he had been knocked out when the ‘Hunters’, he learned they were called had captured him. After about 3 or 4 days, land was found. Xira didn’t even seemed exhausted, and was tired of Pearlwing insisting she should rest on a small rock island every time they found one.

Xira carried a bag of food and medicine, mainly herbs. She never ate the chickens, squirrels, rabbits, or fruits she brought but tried to get Pearlwing to eat. Every time, he would politely refuse. It was her food, and besides he had only ever eaten insects.

Pearlwing was thrilled to find the land. At first he thought it was Sornieth, but then he realized it wasn’t. It was an island. It wasn’t small, but it wasn’t big. Xira landed, and finally took Pearlwing’s advices and lay down. Pearlwing was about to leave Xira’s fluff when she stopped him.

“No,” she said. “It’s cold, we are on the ‘Lagoon Isles’.

After Pearlwing gave her a confused glance she sighed and continued.

“Sorry, I forget you aren’t accustomed to my knowledge. The Lagoon Isles are a set of islands, 5 to be exact, that are several nights away from the Southern Icefields, where I live. The air is cold, and could freeze you, however with my thick coat I am at peace, it’s a perfect temperature for me.”

Pearlwing nodded then slid back into her coat. Xira was big, bigger than some guardians, or imperials. He wasn’t scared of her though. Gladiator was wrong. Xira wasn’t a monster. She was kind. She was generous. And she was amazing. If Pearlwing hadn’t found Semardrid, Xira would most definitely be his mate, or at least co leader.

At peace, Pearlwing dozed off... When he woke, they were in air again.

“Good morning, little one, I have some food and water for you in my satchel.”

Pearlwing sighed but checked to see what she had caught, anyway. To his delight inside the bag was a collection of flies, spiders, and even a few bees. Squeezed lemons mixed with water were in a hollowed our coconut, with a small hole for drinking purposes.

Pearlwing shared his delight and thanks then began to munch on a spider.

“Delicious!”

The sun was shimmering across the water, the sky was clear with no clouds. Pearlwing smiled for the first time in a half a moon. It was lovely. Everything was perfect. Birds flew across the water and sky alongside Xira and they too chirped and joined in with the peace.

Fara & Kero

“The weather is good, I can glide which will save our time by at least 2 nights. We should be there tomorrow afternoon.

Xira was right. The next afternoon, the southern ice fielded were spotted. Pearlwing took a sip of his drink, and ate a few flies. He even found a worm to eat he hadn’t seen the previous day. As he ate the sun disappeared. The sky was cloudy and snowy. Xira let out a satisfied squeal of happiness. Pearlwing, however shivered and felt the cold, unpleasant air reach towards him. He snuggled closer to Xira’s neck, where the most of her warmth, and fur, lay.

Xira flew downwards towards the water, then paused.

“You must hold on very, very tight.”

Pearlwing did as Xira asked and prepared himself for anything. Water. Xira dunked under the water and into a underwater cave. She flew up and into a dry cave. Pearlwing felt frozen, it was so cold, so unbearable.

Atleast the cave was warm. Xira grabbed a pelt of a rabbit and placed it over Pearlwing to warm him up. She placed him next to her and they shared warmth for several minutes. Eventually Pearlwing warmed up. He ate a bee or two as well as a spider, and
fell asleep.

When he awoke, he was alone in the cave. On a piece of parchment runes spelled;
‘Stay here little one, I will be back. I am catching supper and should be back by dawn. Do not fret, -Xiraranaxi (Xira).”

Xiraranaxi. Huh, she must really trust me to tell me her full name. I have never told anyone, not even Semardrid my full name. ‘Pearlawingedflight’. Maybe I should tell Xira and Semardrid mine. I mean now they both have. Semiardreadridarlenblooddrelen, and Xiraranaxi.

After a few hours, Xira returned.

“Sorry I’m late, I also had to make sure our path was safe. Get on.”

Pearlwing sighed as he hopped on her back, and prepared himself to be under the cold ocean, once again. This time Pearlwing knew what to expect, and had the rabbit pelt for warmth, so, he wasn’t nearly as cold and actually was fine.

Two days passed, then four, six, seven, eight, twelve, fourteen? Pearlwing no longer knew. they crossed form the Wouthern Icefield to the Windswept Plateau, avoided the Scarred Wasteland by flying directly across the Sea of a thousand Currents as high as possible as to not be detected, then towards the shifting expanse where they then flew on the water besides the Sunbeam Ruins to the Tangled Wood where they met up with Semardrid, Shasta, Mirabel, and Ahlena and two dragons Pearlwing had never seen before. Everyone else had either died, or left.

“PEARLWING!”

Semardrid screamed, as she flew towards Xira, Pearlwing now flying besides Xira instead of sitting on her. The two faes exchanged hugs and flew back to land and met up with the dragons.

Xira spoke. “WHY ARENT YOU WHERE I SHOWED YOU TO GO????”

The dragons flinched, then a Wildclaw, one of the dragons that Pearlwing didn’t know spoke. “The weather was bad. The route was filled by dragons, we couldn’t safely reach Dragonhome. We decided it was better to stay.”

Xira sighed. “Alright then... that was the only somewhat safe gap of the weather. The Hunters will find us soon, we have to go, now. But first, we have some explaining to do.”

Dragonhome

After explaining Pearlwing’s side of the story, it was now the mysterious Wildclaw’s turn. “Hello Pearlwing, we have learned a lot about you. My name is Kero and this is my mate Marissa. Semardrid has told us that you can no longer lead the clan, Heatherscope. So we are here to take over.”

It was now Pearlwing who spoke, almost, calmly.
“How dare you Semardrid. This is my passion. Why, hwy wou,d you do this.”

Then Semardrid answered. She was calm and understanding. Softly she spoke.

“Pearlwing, it’s true. You need a break. Kero and Marissa would like to start a clan in Dragonhome. Kero will lead, and Marissa will be the queen. There will be subclans, and the main clan. They will lead both the entire clan as a group and the main subclan. A subclan will have a leader, a co-leader, Atleast one student, and many warriors, scavengers, hunters, patrollers, and protectors. Every moon, all the subclans will meet and discuss politely and as a whole group. The meet will be called ‘Sacred Meet.’ The clan will now be called ‘Hopeless Wanderers’, or the ‘Hopeless’. The main subclan will be called ‘Hopeless Cavern.’ New members of the Hopless Wanderers will be sent to Hopless Cavern, as well as the most respected dragons. Leaders of the other subclans are already at Dragonhome. Hopless Cavern will consist of Kero, Marissa, Kero’s sister Fara, Xira, Shasta, Mirabel, Ahlena, and us. More members may join in the future. Please Pearlwing, please come. I’m going no matter what, and I need you to come.”

Pearlwing sighed. “Of course.”

After three days of traveling they arrived. Fara was introduced to the remains of Heatherscope who then took them on a tour of the land. Hopeless Cavern was a beautiful cave system with rooms for each dragon as well as a single room for socializing, meeting, and dining. A stairway led to a complex prison will a few jail cells and a very secure system.

Then, there was Despair Canyon. Despair Canyon was a ledge in a canyon. The leader was Rava and they also met several, other dragons apart of Despair Canyon. Rava refused to have a co leader to assist her.

Crystal pools was very secretive. The leader was Octavia who lived with only a few other dragons. The subclan leader was unknown as Octavia and her dragons only left for food, Sacred Meet, and emergencies.

Ravenous Ravine was located, in a, well, ravine. The dragons were all loners who wandered the ravine alone but the leader was Chaliki, and Agan was the co leader, however Daggar a Banescale (an uncommon and rare breed only seen occasionally) was close to becoming co leader.
