Affinity: Earth
Specialty: Preservation. A sort of time-lock magic. She can stop full-bloom roses from ever wilting, but often uses her power on much more meaningful objects. Like preserving the smell on a piece of cloth for the mate of a recently departed lover, so they may always remember that scent.
Weakness: Fire spells. To Nirrti fire does not create, it only destroys.
Healing: Exceptional healer. Can bring someone back from the very brink of death with her skills.
Blessings: Her second-best talent after her specialty. Blessings that Nirrti procures do not last mere years, but decades. Her magic is best suited towards blessings of an emotional nature. Her favorite medium is stone.
Potion-making: No ability to make potions other than liquids she might use to help preserve objects.
Enchanting: Again, besides her preservation of items, Nirrti has no interest or ability to enchant things for other uses. She finds newly-crafted items the most difficult to enchant, those things that have not yet had a history attached to them. Like with blessings, her favorite material to enchant is stone.
Nirrti is unconcerned with the use of magic for fighting and power, and only seeks to strengthen her magicks when it means that she can better help those in need. An almost complete-opposite example of a dragoness who has had immense power since birth, but has chosen to use it for good...unlike the wicked Hex.

...they're too pretty not to summon. Just summon them and stare. Goal completed.
The tent is dim, arcane candles flicker at the periphery of the dwelling, the heady smell of incense fills the air. In the center of the there is a crystal ball; A crystal ball that would be completely unextrordinary if it wasn't for a galaxy of stars swirling in the middle. Nearby there is a dragon carrying out the steps an elaborate ceremony. Their eyes filled with the ecstatic madness of one who has lived and breathed for a goal nearing completion.
Suddenly all light and noise is muted, torn out of the room a viciously as a mirror tears at its meal. Two nearly indistinguishable voices come out of the crystal orb.
"Will you summon the spirits?"
The dragon grins madly, they have waited a long time for this moment. "Yes I shall!" They cry
There is a small pause and then two figures suddenly flow out of the crystal ball. One is a serene dark blue, the other an intense, stormy red, stars and jewels shine throughout their forms. They would appear angelic but their red eyes glisten with malice.
The dragon who summoned them is now crying, it is the best moment of their life. The two spirits speak
"What have you summoned us for mortal?"
The dragon looks up at them in confusion, "What?"
"Why have you dared to summon us"
"Oh! No I don't need anything I just wanted to look at you two. I heard you guys were gorgeous and just needed to see for myself. I say you two don't disappoint!"
The sistets look at each other, dumbfounded, as the dragon takes out a set of paints and a canvas.
"If you wouldn't mind I'd like to paint you, it won't come near to capturing your perfection but artists must conspire to capture beauty even if their skills are lacking wouldn't you say??"
There is a distinct awkward pause.
"Um... ok... but you don't get to keep it! And you are cursed now! For 1000 years."
The dragon nods completely unfazed.
"Got it, still totally worth it." they begin to paint humming as they work.

Kyrano of the Astral Forge
Faction: The Nightbringers
Believed to be blessed by some yet-unknown divine, Kyrano is a master of crafting intricate jewelry. When he embeds a gemstone into a trinket, the pieces sparkle and shine with inner stars, as if they've come alive with a magic of their own. It's impossible for him to create a failed piece. Kyrano sees this as more of a curse. He feels as if his freedom of expression has been taken away from him and he is now nothing more than a god's tool. He resents the 'blessing' he has been given, but cannot resist creating his metalwork.
Currently, Kyrano resides in The Nightbringer's Citadel, forging intricate jewelry for Lady Nightbringer, helping to make her a very rich Skydancer.

Belsear is an eccentric, lively young coatl who serves as The Citadel's librarian. The quiet, studious type he is not. Instead, Belsear swings wildly between not wanting to talk to anyone as he hyperfocuses on reading or organizing the library, and craving attention and conversation.
He also has a killer sweettooth and has to deal with the unfortunate circumstance that within the Citadel, the basement kitchens are nowhere near his third floor library. When he's hungry, he often goes to lurk downstairs, pestering Godiva to give him treats to take back to his 'lair' of books. Most of the time Godiva is happy to have such an avid fan of her culinary skills, but whenever Belsear's demands begin to annoy her, she calls upon her terrifying mate Deirdre to chase him out of the kitchen.

Viola, the dream weaver
Faction: House of Witches
Viola is an optimistic, compassionate witch who often travels with Nirrti. As her companion blesses the objects of the dead, Viola takes care of the loved ones left behind, soothing their nightmares into pleasant dreams.
Born in Shadow, Viola quickly developed an aptitude for magic and sought out training in the heavily-magic-infused lands of Arcane. When she returned to her homelands, she was a capable young witch looking to use her power to help others.
She first met Nirrti in a dream, where she observed the dragoness preserving the objects of a recently deceased. When Viola awoke, she knew it was destiny. Following where her dreams lead her, Viola journeyed to Indrali lands, where she finally met Nirrti face-to-face. After a single conversation with the somber witch, in which Viola hurriedly explained how she'd got there and loudly proclaimed she would join the House, the two became a traveling pair. Nirrti herself never agreed or disagreed to the arrangement, but as long as Viola respects the dead, the quiet guardian seems not to have a problem with her.

Weakness: ?? (tbd)
Healing: Weak healing skills. Can only heal minor wounds.
Blessings: Though her blessings only last a single night, they are nearly-unbreakable enchantments.

Enchanting: No ability to enchant physical objects. Her dream enchants are placed on the mind of the dragon.
Viola is a typical specialist; she knows what she's good at and puts all of her time and energy into keeping those aspects of her magic strong. Since joining Indrali's House of Witches, she's only become more focused on this, now that there are other witches to fill the gaps in her expertise.

Astarte, The Beginning and The End
Faction: House of Witches
Astarte is a genius, without magic. Through complicated rituals and spells of her own invention, Astarte is able to see both the past and the future. It is not magical talent that fuels her abilities, but pure intellect.
Her house in Witch Village is cluttered with schematics and formulas that are indecipherable even to a powerful witch like Rokshata. While eager to write everything down, Astarte knows all of her magical workings by heart, and often shoves papers aside to simply go off memory.
Unfortunately, as most witches will tell you, seeing through the veils of time has its consequences, to the point most magic-users will stay away from the art. Astarte has dived deep into her skills, but that means that sometimes she loses herself, not knowing what Time she is in. Thus, she is not always a reliable source of information as she doesn't know whether the event has already happened, has yet to come, or if something will interfere to change the future.

Saccarah (sah-car-ah) is Khasi's mate, the one who makes her dreams and blueprints into reality. While Khasi envisions the grand design, Saccarah brings in the practical plans like structural integrity, the cost of materials, and so on. Khasi often says her buildings would still be nothing more than paper without her mate.
Born in The Shifting Expanse, Saccarah grew up in the perfect place for his dream surrounded by the practical, hard-working Lightning dragons. He had the passion for building and architecture, but none of the 'vision'. With brains and muscle he could construct a sturdy building even given a scant amount of materials or money. His structures were dependable, but not 'grand'. It was on an inspirational trip to Light lands to view the Sunbeam Ruins that he met his mate, Khasi, and knew he had found he was looking for not in the ancient pillars, but in a pretty female imperial. Their relationship started out as a business proposal, but did not last long as such before the two fell in love with each other.
Others that are recruited for their projects find Saccarah a little gruff, but easy to work with.

Jadis of the Dawn
Faction: The Nightbringers

Jadis is one of Lady Nightbringer's first followers, and widely known as the most loyal, sacrificing friends and family to serve her lady. Well-practiced in tarot and divination, and accurate to the point that she's made Venera superstitious, the Skydancer often hesitating on decisions- major and minor- until she's gotten a reading from Jadis. For her devotion Jadis has all of her needs fulfilled. Anything she asks for, she quickly receives. And no wonder, since her fortune-telling helps Venera's money-making schemes find success.
Jadis has rooms in both an eastern and western spire of the Citadel; a firm believer in her own arts, she often moves between the two depending on her fortune. Besides her own plush rooms, though, Jadis isn't much of a social person. She sticks to her towers and rarely ever ventures out of them. Belsear brings her books she requests from the Library, and Godiva sends her meals up to her. The other Nightbringers only know her as a quiet, cryptic pearlcatcher.
When she's not performing divination, she's always studying related- and especially newfound- magicks. Jadis keeps in communication with the House of Witches, specifically Astarte, who can confirm fortunes through her time-telling.
