Resources
Having experienced so much radiation and pestilence, the island does not behave as a typical section of the Scarred Wasteland. While it does contain many of the same flora and fauna, many creatures are mutated beyond recognition. With hunters and scavengers scattered throughout the deadwoods, prey is plentiful. Some of the most common island resources are listed below.
Materials
Sage Shell
Organics
Fungi sages sometimes leave these behind, but oddly no dragon has ever seen a sage without one.
27
Birch Bark Sheet
Organics
This stiff paper may be carefully rolled and used to deliver messages.
27
Fungus-Covered Branch
Organics
Fungus-laden branches may be left at the doorsteps of clans that encroach too close to the edge of a grove.
27
Sticky Webbing
Organics
An impossibly sticky clump of webbing that may never lose its tackiness. It is useful as an adhesive for crafters. Just don't get it on your claws!
41
Singed Webbing
Organics
This miracle of nature can actually be woven to produce flame-resistant clothing for use by dragons that may not have started their lives in the Ashfall Waste.
41
Noxious Coralclimber Toxin
Organics
Unstopping this vial releases a foul odor.
34
Leopard Coralclimber Toxin
Organics
Dangerous in large doses, this toxin has medicinal uses in the right claws.
34
Contaminated Featherback Pelt
Organics
A pelt this far gone is best burned or buried far away from clan territory.
350
Ghastly Houndskull
Organics
Still capable of animation long after its host body has been destroyed, the best tactic for dispatching these airborne skulls is with a swift projectile.
47
Grave Dust
Organics
One is just asking to be haunted when collecting this from crypts.
420
Sharpened Deadwood Branch
Organics
The wood is brittle and crumbles into flakes if improperly handled.
42
Runed Tuft of Fur
Organics
This was also an odd thing to enchant.
25
Janustrap Root
Organics
Even if all the stalks are plucked, a new Janustrap may bloom if the roots are left intact.
21
Wing Bones
Organics
A set of intact wing bones: The start of a collection is guaranteed to creep out your clanmates.
79
Etched Tusk
Organics
The tusk of a great carnivore. This one has intricate carvings along its surface, possibly having once been used for a necklace.

90
9
Vampire Bat
Meat
In a stunning display of irony, this critter feeds primarily on duskflapper blood.
37
4

Though they prefer to live in wetland habitats, colonies of swamp rats have been known to infest dragon lairs across much of northern Sornieth.
63
6
Aged Carcass
Meat

41
4
Ram
Meat
Because 'wham' just didn't sound as good.
37
4
Sugarstalker
Meat
Unlike its cousins, the sugarstalker is most active during the dawn and morning hours, opting to feed on insects that are still slumbering when the sun peeks over the horizon.
