Nestled into a canyon on the border of fire and lightning, the Kiln is a small but prosperous operation. They uphold the ideals of the Flamecaller though works of finesse rather than industry. Many artistically inclined dragons seek apprenticeships in the Kiln if they find the monotony of the Great Furnace unappealing.

While the history of the Lucifent Kiln is easily traced in the ledgers and books, there are no current citizens with direct blood relation to the founders. They were said to be patrons of the arts who formed a guild of wealthy collectors. Custom dictated they be led by at least one member from each flight, and from this, a tradition was formed. Dragons presently can claim their spot as a flight representative through their patronage to achieve a celebrity-like status. Many find the tradition gaudy or outdated, but the practice has almost single-handedly kept the Kiln operating for generations.

During the day, dragons can be seen traversing the upper layers of the Kiln. The Oasis welcomes outsiders and individuals unable to land apprenticeships in the Kiln, who may have instead found their calling where trade flows steadily. When night falls, smoke rises as forges are lit in the heart of the Kiln. Dragons take up their tools to begin their craft while thunderous shanties echo through the hallways and into the night. Festivities in the Oasis quiet a few hours after dark, but it is the forges and workshops that bustle with activity long into the early hours of the morning.

The sand baths, glass dome, and thermal heating make it a popular night and daytime spot for dragons. Occasionally, the entire forum will be cleared to make way for both cultural and religious celebrations.
