The mysterious artifact, popularly called the Altar of the Winds, is presumably the cause of the island's summoning powers. It is currently unable to be controlled, manipulated or stopped. While some maidens find this concerning, and long for answers, many have lost interest in questioning Miresa and its origins. Most maidens view Miresa as a safe-haven, and have adjusted to life on the island extremely well. Because of their positive view of Miresa, the island has peacefully continued its monthly summoning without many questions. But with the island's continuous growth, and Miresa's constant expansion and search of knowledge, hidden secrets are slowly being uncovered, and everything is not as peaceful and perfect as it seems... With thousands of these lit in the sky simultaneously, the island looks as if stars are floating all around them.
