Introduction
Miresa is an isolated island that has been summoning exclusively young female inhabitants for nearly one-thousand years. The mysterious artifact, popularly called the Altar of the Winds, is presumably the cause of the island's summoning powers. It is currently unable to be controlled, manipulated or stopped. While some maidens find this concerning, and long for answers, many have lost interest in questioning Miresa and its origins.

Most maidens view Miresa as a safe-haven, and have adjusted to life on the island extremely well. Because of their positive view of Miresa, the island has peacefully continued its monthly summoning without many questions. But with the island's continuous growth, and Miresa's constant search of knowledge, hidden secrets are slowly being uncovered, and everything is not as peaceful and perfect as it seems... Someone, or something, is behind this.
____________

Please note that my lore is not based around dragons or Flight Rising. The maidens are a variety of human-like species, to create an interesting diversity in the world. The island of Miresa is inspired by certain aspects of Sornieth, but you can consider it its own isolated 'world'. It cannot be accessed without being summoned.

Miresa cannot currently allow lore connections, sorry!
But I will happily promote your lore if you do the same

Comments and discussions are appreciated and encouraged!
