Raised in a family who could barely afford to keep everyone fed, Cath has always had to work to help keep herself and her siblings alive. Being the eldest, she, along with her sister, were the ones who were tasked with looking after the younger ones while her mother worked. All that changed when she had the opportunity to go to law school. The catch? The scholarship required her to also partake in a few theatre productions. That was how Cath met Owen and the rest of the gang. If you had told her back in year one that this noisy group of dragons were going to become her best friends (and one of them her husband) she would have thought you were kidding. Though she is still the quietest of the bunch, they have grown on her, and she has undeniably become a part of the group. When they all graduated from college and moved on to Iyonda Landing, Cath went with them. She may not participate in their theatre productions anymore, but she is still very much a part of the theatre world through her relationship with Owen. She works as a lawyer, stepping in when she saw the position had not yet been filled. Iyonda Landing doesn't have a high crime rate (at least not with crimes that have been caught) so she isn't as busy as she used to be. Cath has a great heart for others and loves to help in any way to help, but when it comes to her own life, she can be very secretive. Most of this is due to her perfectionism. She likes to be seen a certain way, and there are certain aspects of her life that she doesn't think properly reflects her, such as the unconventional circumstances of her (unexpected) wedding after a night of partying. Sometimes she is too secretive, and her secrets come back to bite her. Cath loves children, and as she isn't exactly drowning in work in Iyonda Landing, she spends a lot of time helping Cumulus with her work. The wildclaw is probably one of her closest friends outside of the theatre group. She is also happy to help out any new young family, as she has a lot of experience raising kids after raising so many of her siblings. From a young age, he has been taking lessons in dance and theatre, and has been performing all his life (much to his adoptive parents disapproval). His relationship with his adoptive parents is not the best. They do not approve of his life choices and wish he would choose a more suitable career, once that will not destroy their pristine reputation. They care little for Owen, only their reputation is important to them. As soon as he could, Owen moved away from his adoptive parents and attended a university centered on Performing Arts alongside his friends Bree, Kat, Jay, Carter and Aleayh. It was there that he would meet his future wife, Cath (though he was dating Aleayh at the time). He worked hard at his program, pouring his life into his passions. He landed himself the lead role in almost every musical he performed in. Now, he owns a theatre company in Iyonda Landing with his friends. The theatre itself is small, but functional. Owen loves what he does, and is usually one of the main leaders of the company. He likes to seek out dragons with potential talent and try to coerce them into joining up for a production. He makes a great teacher (after all, he did teach Cath to perform. That in and of itself is not an easy task), and an even greater director. Though they may not always have the resources to put on the most flashy and expensive of performances, they are always worth watching. Owen is devoted to his wife. Their marriage was spontaneous and unexpected, even to themselves (they woke up after a night of celebration to find out that they had gotten married the night before). Although it had a rocky start, both parties are very happy that it did happen. They bring out the best in each other. Owen helps Cath recognize her strengths and feel comfortable enough with herself to do anything she sets her mind to, and Cath helps Owen remember what's important in life (and makes sure he actually remembers to eat and sleep when he should). Owen would do anything for her, and often spoils her with gifts, however much she protests. She loves life, and is not afraid to show it. She is very honest, open and confident in herself. She is also not shy about approaching other dragons and asking them about whatever is on her mind. Like the rest of the theatre company, Kat has a passion for dancing and all things performance. She has been training since a hatchling and she has gotten really good at everything she does. Kat never expected Cath to become her best friend when they first met, but Cath wormed her way into her heart. She knows Cath better than anyone, except maybe Owen, and can always tell when something is wrong, even when others can't. She is a very observant dragon in general. She picks up on a lot of things better than other dragons can, and she's very good at working out secrets. Her relationship with Jay is complicated. They are constantly at each other's throats and often get into fights, but this is only because both of their personalities are so strong. Deep down, they both care deeply for each other, but refuse to admit it, and half the time, that is why their fights start. Rumors about their relationship status are constantly flying around the clan, but they are always quick to deny that anything is going on between them, maybe a little too quick... He loves his career, he loves women, and he loves a good party. It's easy to say to lives life to the fullest he can. He is certainly suited to the life of a star, and he never fails in his confidence. He has a very strong personality, and that causes him to clash with a lot of dragons. He is very hot-headed, and quick to make things physical if words don't get him anywhere. One of the dragons he clashes with most is Cath, as they have very different life values and are very stubborn in their ways. That said, his arguments with her has never escalated beyond words. Jay is and has always been madly in love with Kat, however, both their personalities are far to strong for them to ever seem to get along well enough to start a relationship. Their fights are well-known within the clan, and their apparent relationship status is always being debated among their clanmates. Ask them personally about their relationship status, and they'll deny it, but it's easy to see that there is something more going in between them. Sometimes, it's like a switch is flipped inside her when she gets to perform. That said, she is more likely than anyone else in her group of friends (other than Cath) to take a more minor role in the production. She very rarely gets lead role, but she doesn't mind. She's just happy doing what she does. She spends the extra time she has exploring her other hobbies, like photography. She is the only one of the group to be born into Iyonda Landing, and it was she who suggested they move their theatre company there upon completing college. As a hatchling, she discovered her love for dance and often performed for her family alongside her clutch-mate, Fiddler. Fiddler has left to pursue other passions, as Bree had left to pursue hers. Bree misses him very much, but she knows he is pursuing his dreams, so she is happy for him. She has a special taste for violin music because of her brother. He is incredibly sweet and compassionate, one of the last dragons someone might expect to be a loud theatre kid when you first meet him. Oftentimes, people wonder how he and Kat could even be related, until they see him in action. He completely blew everyone away with his performance as Lafayette and Jefferson in the theatre company's production of Hamilton. He slipped to naturally into the role, and slipped naturally out of it afterwards. There are moments like that, moments where he lets loose and gives everything his all and joins the others in their crazy shenanigans. It always shocks people when they first meet him, but that's just a part of who he is. He is both the calm and the energized, the compassionate and the rowdy. He is every part a member of the group. Still, it is no secret that Cath and Aleayh often fail to get along due to their shared affection for Owen, and Aleayh is not one to easily let go of the fact that Owen was once hers. Aleayh is a brilliant performer, absolutely confident in herself and her body and amazing at choreography. She is amazing to watch, and that is one of the reasons she was allowed to join the theatre company despite the drama and conflict that arose because of it. They were good without her, but not as good as they could be. That said, Aleayh is not the nicest dragon. She is very prideful, and has always been able to get what she wants. She doesn't like not getting what she wants, and when someone stands in her way, she can be downright brutal. She has made herself a lot of enemies this way, but she never lets it bother her. He left before taking any more education besides reading and writing, and has been self-taught in formal writing essay and politics since. This lack of dependence would have made him a great leader, if not for his lack of charisma in verbal words rather than letters. She is not easily pushed around and can hold her own against whatever life throws at her. She is living proof that compassion and love are not a weakness. He is an expert at weaseling out of doing work, as he'd much rather be out and riding the wind, or napping and eating his favourite foods than doing any actual work. That being said, he is a skilled mage. Part of his laziness may come from boredom, as he picks up new skills so quickly, and as a result, grows bored of them quickly because there is no real challenge. He too was a survivor of the brutal attack on Clan Sonder, but that was more of a result of the fact he flew off as soon as the battle started, not wanting to waste his energies if it turned out to be a small skirmish, and not wanted to lose his life if it was more serious. Sacredscream, who has always disapproved of his laziness and vanity, absolutely despises him for this reason, though every time they get into a conversation about this subject, Shadow reminds him that he too hid and did not take part in any actual fighting, and from there the conversation always ends with Sacredscream leaving, fuming and irritated. Since he does little in the way of work, and as a result has very little money, he gets his familiar to sneak off and steal some treasure for him whenever he wants to buy something. He reluctantly gave in to Zohar's begging and took him on as an apprentice. As Zohar was rather slow at picking things up, Shadow got bored showing him the same thing over and over again, and at any rate didn't like being pestered by young dragons in the first place, so he was very negligent in his mentorship roles and that played a role in the slowing of Zohar's progress. He is often on the receiving end of pranks. He is not aware of who is pulling these pranks on him, but he has vowed that if he ever finds out who does it, there will be consequences. He was absent in the rebellion, having flown off the moment he saw trouble coming, and everyone presumed him dead, until he returned once the clan had been rebuilt. He had nothing to say about the fact his apprentice had left, and returned to his life he had been living before, unaffected by the tragedies and victories of his clanmates. He is also known to be quite the womanizer. He courts only the most beautiful of ladies, and no relationship lasts long. He is far too self-absorbed for any female to stand being near his for too long (save for maybe [url=http://flightrising.com/main.php?dragon=27525703]Cora[/url], who is a tad obsessed with him.) He also is extremely prejudiced against bogsneaks, considering them the lowest of the low of all dragon breeds. Eventually, fed up with his arrogance and insufferable attitude, someone performed a prank on him and transformed him from a skydancer into a bogsneak. He was horrified to wake up to discover the transformation, and he almost destroyed the inn with his angry bursts of magic. However, the change proved to be irreversible, and he is now stuck as a bogsneak. He is entirely disgusted with himself, and to make up for it, he has become even more self-absorbed and self-entitled.
