It seemed unlikely that any of them would survive. When her parents got word of a renowned doctor in shadow that might be able to help, they immediately made plans to travel. Epidemic has no recollection of the journey there, nor of her first month with the doctor, both due to her age and the fact she spent the majority of that time unconscious. Because of this, she has no memory of her brothers, Elmos and Ezili, who died on the journey to the doctor. Her earliest memories are of lying on a bed, too sick to get up and move more than a few steps. Above her, orange eyes gleaming with joy to see her awake and recovering, was Ember, an experienced warrior who had been hired to help her family travel safely to shadow. He had found her fighting spirit so inspiring he had decided to stay with the doctor to help her recover. She did not meet her parents for at least a week, as they had responsibilities back home and could only stop by to visit their daughter every once in a while. Because she was not strong enough to fly across the sea of a thousand currents, and she had developed a severe fear of illness of all sorts, they began to travel the long way around, through light, lightning and fire. They traveled slowly, allowing Epide, as Ember had come to call her, to gather her strength and grow stronger as a warrior. By the time she arrived home at Trap Street, her skill as a warrior was almost matched with Ember's. Arriving home was a bittersweet affair. She was happy to return to her parents and to discover the place where she had hatched, but Ember had only promised to return her home. The wildclaw had become her closest and only friend, and the thought of losing him broke her heart. It was then when Ember announced he would stay on Trap Street with Epide. It was an adjustment, learning to live around so many dragons after only having the company of Ember and the doctor who healed her. The street was busy, and Epide was unused to the rules that she was now bound to follow. It was especially a shock the first time she came face to face with her uncle Dakota. Seeing a plague dragon scared her half to death, and though she had trouble admitting her fear, it took a long time for her to be comfortable around him. Though Epide and Ember called Trap Street their home, they spent more time away from it, fighting battles and training other dragons, than they did on the street. Epidemic has grown to be a fearsome and talented warrior, if a little hot-headed. There have been many occasions where her short temper and sharp words have started larger battles than she intended, but this is little bother to her. She loves fighting, especially alongside Ember, and she does not understand when he tells her to reign in her temper a bit. The worst occasion of this resulted in Trap Street almost being wiped out, and the only thing stopping Ashildr from setting the raven on her for it was the fact that it was her that saved it, alongside Ember and Dakota. After Trap street was disbanded, she and Ember joined the Warriors Guild. She is the youngest and least experienced member of the group, but she does not let that stop her, and she never lets anyone look down on her for it. She has proven her worth as their equal many times over, even though nobody ever asked her to prove it. Song: Glory and Gore - Lorde

Glory and gore go hand in hand
That's why we're making headlines
You could try and take us
But victory's contagious

the hatchling was for so long isolated
she was so sick
it felt like her world would just fall
but then with a doctor
the doctor found the cure
the cure soon to be a friend
she was healthy again
her speckled scales soon shone
her wings too
her spirit soon turned to fighting
her temper became short
but she was Epidemic
she was the miraculous hatchling that could

Epidemic and her two brothers hatched extremely ill, a result from a nasty dealing her father had in his line of work.

The moment she was strong enough, Epidemic began begging Ember for battle training. She wanted to be a great warrior like him, and she would do anything to achieve it. Ember happily obliged, and though it was difficult at first, Epidemic quickly grew stronger and healthier.

Once she was strong enough to travel, she and Ember began to make her way back to her birth clan.

In addition to being one of the first you will see as he helps bring your luggage to your room, he is also a very friendly dragon who likes to take the time to get to know the guests while they stay at the inn. He lives off of social interaction, and loves making other dragons smile. Morrow, however, is not just known for his charm, quick wit and good looks. He has a reputation of having had a long string of lovers. This is not because he wants this to be so, in fact, he is searching for a permanent mate who he can settle down with. He however, despite his charm and kindness, is not very good at picking out good candidates. All his relationships seem to end rather abruptly, either as a guest leaves the inn or Morrow comes to realize that his relationship is not working out in a healthy manner. Despite the constant gossip surrounding him and who is latest girlfriend is and the disheartening failed relationships in his past, Morrow is rarely bothered other than the occasional frustrated outburst. He knows that somewhere out there is the perfect mate for him, and he will keep on trying until he finds her. Surprisingly, other than a few exceptions where a relationship ended in a rather nasty way, Morrow is still on good terms or even friends with many of his past girlfriends. Morrow is well loved at the inn, both for his hard work and his friendliness. As a result, many of the staff consider him a friend. Though, if you were to ask Morrow who his closest friends are, he'd tell you Lyra and Desiree are the ones who he has the most meaningful relationship with. Desiree especially he gets into a lot of trouble with, as both push each other to the limits when trying to prank each other or make other dragons laugh. Morrow

dragon?did=29704949&skin=0&apparel=426,388,391,491,1396&xt=dressing.png

I sailed a thousand ships in search of you.
Traveled to distant land.
I dove for sunken gold.
I took what I could hold,
But you're still the greatest treasure I've held in my hands.

Morrow is a face you will see often in your stay at the Inn Over Yonder.

She can craft something wonderful out of any type of food. She was trained by the best chefs in the Ashfall Waste. She plans her menu out months in advance, and will never send out any food unless it is cooked to perfection. The kitchens are close to the engines. This is done on Pompeii's request, because she has cranked up the heat so high that only a fire dragon can enter without feeling incredibly uncomfortable. She takes her cooking very seriously, and she is known to hold a grudge. If a customer makes an unfounded complaint, she will remember and she will make sure to cook their food in a way that displeases them next time. Maybe it will have just a pinch too much salt, or a skewed noodle to sauce ratio in a pasta. That said, if a complaint is a genuine worry, she will take it very seriously, and she is very accommodating to dietary restrictions for any reason, be it personal choice or allergies. She also makes sure there is at least one dish that consists of purely one food category, so that every dragon breed will feel comfortable eating it. She tends to yell a lot. This is because the kitchens are so loud, she must yell to be heard, and she spends so much time in the kitchens she is not good at adjusting her volume when outside of the inn's kitchen. To her husband, the spa may be a prestigious establishment that is an honour to be a part of, but Desiree is all about playing with mud and loosening up people to have fun, not just to relax. After all, laughter is as good as any mud bath or massage, right? One of her favourite pastimes is playing pranks on her co-worker, Morrow. The light-hearted and friendly wildclaw is just so easy to tease, and he's just as happy to provide Desiree some solid payback, something she doesn't get a lot of for her pranks. She also loves to make other dragons laugh. She is not easily fazed or upset. If someone pulls a prank on her, no matter how well it gets her, she is too busy admiring the workmanship after the initial shock to truly be angry. If something unexpected turns up and a problem happens, she is the first to try and make a joke of the situation. Many dragons wonder how such a silly dragon like her ended up with such a serious minded dragon like Ida, but if you ask her, Desiree will just laugh and say that's how things work out sometimes. Truth be told, Ida is fun to tease, and he helps keep her on track. She respects his views and knows when to give him space, but she also knows that deep down he isn't as serious as he likes to appear. She gives him the space to be himself, without fear of judgement. Dragons from all over the world come to the inn, and they are expecting top notch service, especially from one of the more expensive aspects of the inn. He wants to be sure his guests are having a good time, and that everything is going as it should. This was a problem when he was first paired with Desiree to run the spa. They clashed, their different ideals on spa running constantly at odds with the other's. Over time though, Desiree grew to appreciate his attention to detail and his deep respect for his line of work, and Ida began to appreciate Desiree's effective, although unconventional, ways of getting their guests to forget their worries and loosen up. With their newfound respect for each other, they were able to compromise and leave room for the other's methods. It was a surprise to everyone when Ida and Desiree announced their engagement. Though everyone knew they were getting along, they didn't expect they were getting on quite that well. The truth is, Desiree's lax attitude softened Ida, and her acceptance (and celebration) of everyone's quirks lead Ida to be able to open up around her more than he every felt he could with anyone else. Why would she judge him after all? She had already tripped over her own feet and landing face first in the mud bath three times this week alone. His wife would not see his slip in seriousness as a lapse in dignity. Cause of Death: TBA

This information has never bothered her much, she sees herself as her own dragon and she knows her connections to her dead father are few and far between. In her early stages of life, she was raised by her grandparents, the queen, Adrika, and her pirate mate, Cawthorne. If anything, Jean takes after her grandfather. He taught her to fly his ship at a very young age. It is because of those lessons that Jean has become the captain of her grandfather's ship, the Adrika, after her grandparent's deaths and the expansion of the Inn Over Yonder. It is she that pilots the Inn through the skies of the windswept plateau, and as a result, is responsible for the safety of all the staff and guests. She takes on this responsibility with pride, as she could imagine no other life than one soaring through the sky in her grandfather's ship. Jean spends most of her time alone, just the wind and clouds around her. She does not mind this solitude. She knows that many dragons look at her differently because they know who her father was. That does not mean she is without friends, however. She considers many of the dragons in the clan to be her friends. Lyra and Morrow visit her often when they are off duty, and she is especially close friends with the unofficial tour guide, Freya. The wildclaw shares her love for adventure, and sometimes pushed Jean to take risky routes through turbulent skies for the fun of it. Jean, as an adept pilot who already enjoyed flying through turbulent winds, is only too happy to comply. Jean does however, take more care to consider the safety of her passengers than Freya does.
