Steffon Writer's block is icktacular. I hope you conquer it!

Pookasaur That nocturne is gorgeous. Like a tardis crystal. o_o And oooh, Eidothea is a soothsayer! That's really cool. I wonder if her readings will show up in some of your other bios?

NightwindDragon I sympathize with your goal. I was supposed to go laptop shopping in January and... err... it's not January anymore. -_-

puffbird Oh, yes. Your school year is almost over! I remember the desperation I used to feel around May myself before I had to start relying on summer camp as a daycare. I kinda hate having to do that. :P But anyway. Share your Patreon page when you're done setting it up! I love the coloring book page you linked on twitter!

PocketTheSaurus Somehow, I doubt "no, no, I stole it from a totally DIFFERENT bestselling author" is going to make me sound any better. Lol. :) And I sympathize with your issue about having to do research. I feel like half the time I 'waste' not writing is actually spent doing research for something that ends up having ONE LINE in a manuscript. "Gee, I have to figure out how people are fed intravenously so I know what kind of line this doctor can ask for!" *falls down Wikipedia rabbit hole for three hours*

chalcara Oh, I love the idea of an orphaned egg with a message scrawled on its shell! That was fantastic!

paintminion When I need to do significant edits, I usually read the entire book from beginning to end and make notes as I go. When I finish, I go through my notes and separate them into line-level edits and theme-level. And then I just go at it, in order, first page to last, and try to fix all the issues. It's the brute force approach, but I seem to work best in a linear way. Otherwise I get nothing done. :,

mwingzero Zombie dragons absolutely must go on a nest, just to see what happens next.

Velg I am so sorry you are so overwhelmed! Make sure you give yourself time to recuperate before pushing yourself! Sometimes when your brain is insisting that you need to rest, it really means it! But if you think you're done, I usually use the 'just one sentence' method to restart myself. "I can write just one sentence. One sentence and then I'm done. One sentence won't take long." Then... 'one paragraph.' Then 'one page.' Etc. It seems to work: breaking it down into tiny chunks makes it seem surmountable.

Pyrasaur Those are some gorgeous spirals! Tell us about the new book?

ShadesofCyan Poor Halona! What happens next??

BombSwan I think we all have those moments of 'oh no, I'm writing derivative crud and no one will care.' It's not just you! But only you can write BombSwan's take on those stories, so...
Okay, more in part 2 of my response here, this is getting long. O_O
