Same issue here - the trade, however, does go on (the items get swapped). I wonder if it's connected to the possibility of festival currency dropping with the trades during the festival? I don't remember having this issue before RoR
Edit: As of post-rollover 29.10 the trade went through correctly! And awarded Shrooms [emoji=fathom star size=1]

I am still seeing this error today. I have seen is on windows 10 with chrome, and windows 11 with firefox.
I'm particularly annoyed because I tend to put off trades until festivals and events, to get the extra currency, and I genuinely don't know if that's happening or not - I didn't think to check my shroom numbers beforehand.

Also came to report this issue! It happened twice today with Sinclair, but the trades went through and I did get the items despite the error messages. Using Firefox, Windows 11.

Just accidentally traded away ALL of my water runestones on the Moonbeam Aqueduct scene instead of just one of them because it kept erroring out so I thought it didn't go through (It Did.) ( : I'm actually quite peeved about that!

This bug should now be fixed.
Technical details for the curious
This error message would display whenever a trade rewarded a bonus item - in this case an All-Seeing Shroom during the Riot of Rot holiday.
The trade did go through and the bonus item was rewarded, but the final window that displays the trade result was thrown off by the "unexpected" item.
The random nature of bonus items explains why this error was itself random.
This bug should now be fixed.
