This thread is to track any gene errors that have occurred for ancient dragons in releases that are more than 45 days old. Fixes will be done when time and bandwidth allow.
In this thread, players may report any errors they encounter with older ancient genes. This thread is for technical errors only.[/url] We do not accept consistency error reports on genes that are more than 45 days old.
Please report any technical errors you encounter. We intend to fix all technical errors, though this thread is not considered a priority thread. These fixes will be implemented as time and team availability allow.

I will be deleting reports that are not relevant to the ancient genes that have been out for more than 45 days, reports that have been corrected, reports are not considered an issue, duplicate reports, and discussion or chatter as I encounter/investigate them to keep the thread current with gene reports only.

- P Sailfish (Aberration M) - There were some stray brush strokes in the tail that were corrected.
- P Stitched (All Veilspun)The stitching lineart was not dynamically recoloring. Fixed.
- P Tide: (Banescale) - The horns layer was left solid with the basic color fill instead of being transluscent "water" that the gene does with horns. Fixed.
- P: Twinkle (Aether M) - Strawberry Twinkle came back from the war. Fixed.
- P Vipera (All Veilspun)The incorrect colors were used on Obsidian (great misclick). Fixed.
- S Affection (Auraboa F) - The tail is missing a gradient. Fixed.
- S Butterfly (All Veilspun)The incorrect colors were used on Obsidian (great misclick). Fixed.
- S Constellation (Veilspun F) - The back wing hollow was missing a gradient. Fixed.
- S Constellation (Veilspun F)Incorrect colors were used across the gene. Fixed.
- S Edged (All Veilspun)The incorrect colors were used on Obsidian (great misclick). Fixed.
- S Eyespots (All Veilspun)The incorrect colors were used on Obsidian (great misclick). Fixed.
- S: Fissure (Sandsurge) - The second layer of shadow should have shown both the cracks and the dimensionality of the dragon. Fixed.
- S Flair (Auraboa F) - The large wing on the right side of the canvas had upper feather patterning on the lower feather portion that curves around, creating a mismatch within the breed, and with its other wings. Fixed.
- S Hypnotic (All Veilspun)The incorrect colors were used on Obsidian (great misclick). Fixed.
- S Patchwork (All Veilspun)The stitching lineart was not dynamically recoloring. Fixed.
- S Peregrine (All Veilspun)The incorrect colors were used on Obsidian (great misclick). Fixed.
- S Peregrine (Auraboa M) - The palm of the larger wing hand did not have the palm marking applied. Fixed.
- S Saturn (All Veilspun)The incorrect colors were used on Obsidian (great misclick). Fixed.
- T Branches: (Undertide M) - The incorrect branch color was used compared to other Undertides and all other instances of the branches gene. Fixed.
- T Coral (Thorntail F) - The gene was offset by several pixels after a prior correction, and is now aligned again.
- T Crystalline (All Thorntail) - The gene was offset to the right by several pixels. This is now aligned correctly.
- T Medusa (Veilspun F) A gradient was missing from one of the tails that ended in the body color. Fixed.
- T Riot (Veilspun M) The spine accent color was missing from the back wing. Fixed.
- T Rockbreaker (Dusthide, Thorntail) The inner geode gradient isn't as strong as previous versions of the gene. Fixed within 45 day release window, as this is a consistency issue.
- T Runes (Veilspun H, M) The foot sparkles were missing. Fixed.
- T Sailfin: (Undertide F) - The shadows are missing on a small portion of the fin. Fixed.
- T Soap (Veilspun H) There was bleed outside the lines. Fixed.
- T Stained (All Banescale) - The teeth and tongue are no longer stained. Fixed
- T Sweet (Thorntail H) - The color gradient was inverted from the two adults. This has been corrected.
- T Terracotta (Auraboa M) - There was a semi-transparent stray pixel in the upper right. Fixed.
- T Trickmurk (All Thorntail) - Corrections were made to ensure that the gene didn't clip with the default eye shape.
- T Wavecrest (Auraboa F) - the right bottom fin was not placed fully behind the dragon. Fixed.
Known Issues
- P Cherub (Undertide F, M) - The pattern colors over the belly in multiple places.
- P Spool (Aether M) - There is some pixel bleed on the edge of the belly.
- S Flair (Sandsurge F) - The tail diamonds and center are missing the accent color.
- T Koi (Aberration) - There is a pixel halo that needs to be cleaned up.
- T Trimmings (Banescale H) - The front wing is missing a dot and there is bleed onto the horns.
- T Wavecrest (Everlux M) - The wavecrest gene should be slightly visible behind the back wing.

Working as intended
- Multi-Gaze & Line-Breaking Tertiaries: Sadly, the multi gaze and line breaking tertiary issue is a technical limitation. Eyes must always layer over the primary, secondary, and tertiary genes, and they are not contextually aware of what is below them and able to alter their shape to accommodate. This is a limitation with all of our dragons that have line breaking tertiaries.
- Primary: Stitched (all) The rose color has bright red patches. The light pink shadow layer of rose is present in these patches, but is too faint as to show up well against such a vibrant color. This will not be corrected, as it would involve changing the colors of the patches or native shadow hue of rose on a gene that's been released for years.
- Gaoler F Claw Shadows The templates have existed with the shadows they have since the breed launched over 5 years ago. These are the templates are used to make both the genes and skins across site, and cannot be altered at this point without significant disruption.
- Medusa It is considered working as intended and within the allowance of variance for the number and head shape/pose to vary between species.
- Wicker/Woven The colors on wicker and woven are consistent for both the gene and the breed. This is not considered a technical issue.
- Python/Morph (Auraboa F, Gold) The line width on the borders of gold is consistent with every other color. The color of the colors on gold is consistent with every other gold. This is considered working as intended.
- Starmap/Constellation (Auraboa) The strength of the glows is within the allowance of the gene, and is not considered a technical issue.
- Flaunt (Auraboa) The pattern crossing over the belly is also present in certain modern poses to a lesser degree, and is consistent within the breed. This is not considered a technical issue.
- Harlequin (Auraboa) The claw hands having some "gloved" hands and some "fingerless gloved" hands is a feature of this gene, and is consistent with other breeds.
- Morph (Auraboa) The claw hands on the upper and lower wings being two different colors is internally consistent within the breed, and is not considered a technical issue.
- Riot - The placement of these genes was intentional, and does need to adjust to different wing anatomies.
- Hex The mane treatments on hex differ by breed. As long as it is internally consistent within the breed and has no bleed or overt errors, this pattern differentiation is considered working as intended and is not a technical issue.
- Rabicano/Roan - These genes are intended to by dimorphic in their color and patterning.
- Poison (Veilspun) - While the claws not being colored in is a consistency issue between breeds, it is consistent within the breed itself and does not radically change the look of the gene to be unrecognizable. This gene was released years ago. This thread is only for technical issues and internal breed consistency past 45 days of a genes initial release.
