Curiously, without me doing anything, the problem has disappeared from my mobile (android, Chrome) but still persists on my desktop (also Chrome).

Same here, using Chrome (Version 85.0.4183.127) on Android as well.

Experiencing the same as what other people are saying: it stopped for me for a week or so, but now I'm getting it again on the front page, my lair, all dragon profiles, the forums, etc. Google Chrome user, already tried clearing my cache and cookies.
