TOPIC | [T] [Art] Incorrect Gene Colors
1 2 ... 69 70 71 72 73 ... 312 313
Ivory primary appears to have lost its white underbelly on all breeds and genes that I tried, which actually really bums me out as it was one of the things I loved about Ivory... Is this intentional? I thought white was always supposed to be Ivory's 'thing' just like violet or lemon's brown/tan bellies... Or am I totally hallucinating and it's always been this way? @BlueTrillium it definitely used to be there (unless your breed was a tundra since the colors switch on them)

Nah, my boy is a male snapper with tiger and I totally loved his white belly (though it's usually mostly covered by apparel which is why I thought I might have hallucinated it). I really hope the ivory dragons get their white bellies back! Losing the white belly seems more like an error than a correction, as I'm pretty sure the original white belly was intentional! Sky and black still have theirs! *cross fingers*

so the shading opacity on my Coatl Jess is kinda off XD I noticed she looked paler than usual after the new colors came out :< look at the difference from a picture I took a week ago (she's the female coatl in the top right corner): and the picture I took today :< I've also tried clearing my history; still the same xP (look in my lair and you'll see how weird she looks with her shading kinda pale XDD And actually I've just noticed that all my dragon's shading opacity has been pale as well XP ) She looks kinda weird after the new color wheel update. Here's how her shading opacity is now xP :

So i was messing around in scry, and I discovered that Cyan Seraph is reeeeeally dark? Like, darker than the shading and as dark as the lineart pitch black. If your post is referring to anything related to underbelly covering extra areas, the intensity of iridescent/shimmer highlights, obsidian crystal/facet on fae f, or gold crystal facet, these are known issues that will be corrected. You can read about them in our anniversary thread here: http://www1.flightrising.com/forums/ann/1880521. I will not be addressing any reports about the above issues since they are already on schedule to be addressed. Thank you for the keen eye! I will not be addressing any reports about the below issues because they are a result of standardizing our color palette for use with our image generator. Intended Changes:

All colors (with the exception of Iridescent & Shimmer, which are still colored by hand) have been uniformly standardized across the site. This means that some dragons will look different. The old method that our team used to recolor genes was to have an artist sample each color by hand. This was extremely time-consuming, made gene releases very infrequent, did not allow for color wheel expansion, and produced variation from dragon to dragon because of human error. Our new automated color system needs to use one color swatch for each gene area to function, allowing for no variation from breed to breed.
Colored shadows on old breeds/genes are now uniformly consistent to those that have been used on new breeds/genes. This brings our old breeds and our new breeds in visual alignment going forward.
