Carob is one of the two souls first saved by Valerian and Fiora when the barrier between What Is and What Isn't was at it's weakest, and the first to hatch. He fought hard to grasp it when the slim chance of salvation reached him, and that tenacity has followed him to his new life. He will have a special place in his parents' hearts, always. ----- Fiora and Valerian won't nest again until June 5th, the Anniversary of the Firstborn, and Fiora's own hatchdate, when her strength is at its greatest for their next expedition beyond the Veil.
