Currently, most of my pairs are project pairs to breed in the correct combinations. The price on the Auction House is what I'd like and consider fair, not what I'm willing to sell it for. Make an offer if its too steep. Hatchlings will come named. Ask for a renaming scroll, and you shall receive. Gem to treasure ratio is 1:1000. Mixed or alternative pay is fine, and I'd be happy to work something out with you. Add yourself to my pinglist or ask me to do it for you to be notified of future hatchlings. I know that, having bought some hatchery dragons myself. But I've also got to outline the costs I spent on these guys. First of all, most of these color combo's do not exist, or I cannot obtain. So I have to breed them into existence, which can take months, as it depends on RNG. And the priorities here are Coatl, Starmap, Constellation, and Koi. These four things are all gem genes, and adds up to 5,900 gems total. So to make a pair, the total cost without including the price of the dragon, is 11,800 gems, or ~118,000,000 treasure. If you wanted to put it into real life money, its $105 USD per pair. At 200 gems each, it would take 59 hatchlings sold until I made back what I spent, and Coatl's can only breed around 12 times a year. So that's about 36 hatchlings per year at the average amount of eggs, which means it will take a little under 2 years before I start making a profit on that one pair. And because I'll likely be reinvesting into more dragons, I can essentially forget about profit. Now, 200 gems isn't really that hard to obtain. Its about 200,000 treasure, and you can earn that much by maxing Fairgrounds for three days. I can do it using the guide in 10~15 minutes. There are other ways too, but this is the most stable and in my opinion, the easiest, because literally anyone with an account can do it. About the KoiKoi Project: This project started with Lyn, a dragon I bought from [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/baz/2864165/1][color=#1C86EE]Moonlight Skies[/url], who sparked an idea. Could I match the other color of Robin Koi to another color? I made some scries in Morphology that looked pretty good, and set out to find a mate for her and multiply the pretty dragons so everyone could have them! But.. the resulting kids weren't what I was looking for. So I made it more specific, and found that, in general, the color combos I wanted didn't exist. Which lead to me searching for other color combos, and I got multiple project dragons to breed in the right colors. I decided, I've got nothing better to do in this game, why not make it a long-term goal to get a Starmap/Constellation/Koi Coatl of every color of Koi in the game, just to say I did? But as I went, I found more and more people liked the resulting dragons as much as I did. I couldn't just make one anymore. I wanted other people to have the chance to get these beautiful dragons too. So now I'm doing this. Its not in the plan to have a pair for every color of Koi, as not all the colors are actually nice, but it is in the plan to someday, make them dirt-cheap. If its possible, I want these exact dragons to be going for fodder prices during pushes, because that means enough people have the ability to breed them so much there's no longer a great demand, and people who are starting out can get one for cheap and feel lucky about it. And, yeah, that's the project. Do I ever expect to complete this? Its so far away I can't give a yes or a no, but I can give my considerable effort and say I won't have any regrets regardless of the outcome. Maybe the game will shut down before I'm able to finish. Maybe I'll get so sick of it I'll give up. Or maybe I won't be physically able to continue. Any way it goes, all I have right now is the present.[/center]
