Hello and welcome to my hatchery! I've been a plague lore clan since the dark ages of Flight Rising and I wanted to create a place where I can sell my hatchlings. Most of the breeding pairs I own come with their own lore, and so do their offspring. Some hatchlings are more tied into my own lore than others, but please know that you are allowed to change anything you want when purchasing these dragons. The lore they receive is never set in stone.

Achai and Zayeva are the oldest dragons in Archaic. They founded the clan, nourished and cared for it, and certainly bled for it. They've been in charge since its conception and are knowledgeable on the Scarred Wasteland. Zayeva is the force that drives it all, while Achai assists with tactical brilliance. They are demanding parents who expect the best from their offspring and place high expectations upon them. The daughters face a stricter upbringing than their male siblings, as these daughters hold a claim to the title of Matriarch should they wish to fight for it. It is for this reason that female offspring are often quicker to leave home.
Those born to the clan founders face a strict upbringing. From a very young age they are trained in combat and taught how to survive in the Wasteland, and before reaching adolescence are forced to make a tough decision: be granted the honour of exaltation or seek out your own path. Whichever decision the child makes comes with a heap of responsibility to make the clan proud. Children of the founders are often physically tough and may enjoy a strong connection to Plague magic if they are lucky enough to inherit it from their mother. They are given nothing but the bare tools to succeed in life and cannot rely on the high ranks of their parents. If they want something then they must work hard for it.

Those living close to the Wyrmwound know of its many rumours. Even the whispers of a blessed pair with powers as complex as the Wasteland they reside in; with knowledge so old it hails from the land itself. This pair is known as the Children of the Wasteland, and passes this title to their offspring. Spinal and Maras are the result of pure Plague bloodlines and powerful ancestors. They are close to their deity and to their element. They are a seer and a teacher, each spreading the message of Plague in their own way.
Their children are often placed upon a pedestal. The undiluted Plague magic which courses through their veins is seen as a blessing. This allows for their children to achieve great physical and magical feats, with near limitless possibilities and ways that their powers can manifest. Not to mention that the power of the children has the potential to rise well beyond that of their progenitors.
And yet there is one downside to their power: for when multiple children inhabit the same space their powers will negate one another. Their bodies will try to tap into the Wasteland’s reserves at the same time, cancelling out each others spells and power. While the entirety of their mana pool may not be drained, a significant drop in power is felt. Instinctually these children will never clump together, instead seeking out their own path.

The children of Saber and Achalendra are often raised communally and therefore face a lot of different influences when growing up. Hailing from fairly low ranked dragons these children enjoy a childhood that is far more free than their contemporaries, and therefore their paths are never set in life. With their mother being the clan's butcher and cook, and their father tending to the needs of the clan itself, they are raised with a sense of responsibility. Whatever road they may take they will take it with passion and thought.
Nicknamed 'demons' for their odd colours and looks, these hatchlings possess a strong connection to their native magic and wield it with relative ease. As with all children of Archaic, these dragons are trained in combat from an early age so that they may defend themselves. Coupled with their magical prowess they make formidable opponents if they so choose to.

Sovari and Charene share a bond that cannot be broken. A minstrel and a lorekeeper, forever bonded by a love of history and myths, wildly different and yet perfectly paired. They are loving parents that shower their offspring in affection and praise. Their children are raised on wild stories of the Wasteland, and lulled to sleep by lullabies of Wind and Plague. The children of Sovari and Charene share a communal upbringing and therefore have a knack for socialising at every occassion. Wherever they may go they won't lack the necessary social skills.
With one of their parents being a siren, many of these children have a voice that is as sweet as it is terrifying. While they are taught to control this power it is still possible for a child to accidentally enthrall others, or knowingly use this power for their own gain. Whether they desire it or not it remains a part of them. These children have a natural wanderlust and curiosity; mostly unburdened by the desire to remain in the Wasteland they feel at home just about anywhere in Sornieth.
