Locals claim the forest to be haunted, and it has integrated itself into local clan lore. Among the bright reds and golds of autumn, restless young dragons from these clans use the forest as their first challenge of the real world, using it to test their bravery. Elders from their clans, however, know that there's something deeper to the mystery of the forest. Dragons who walk the forest in autumn come out with claims of strange signs in the wood - anything from piles of bones, to a quiet visit from a forest animal, to runes scratched in the bark. No two signs are the same. Some youngsters even claim to have seen the great red and gold dragon rumored to haunt the Hallowed Wood - fewer yet claim to have actually spoken with her. Those that do say she speaks in a voice made of honey over damp earth, in a tongue not quite draconian. Exchanging words with the forest spirit is said to be an omen of great importance, depending on what was said. After facing the forest, young dragons are deemed ready by the clan elders to go off on their own, chasing their purpose in life. Will you take these dragons in?
