question! i wanted to ask, how do you exactly get one of these hatcheries up and running..?
especially with logos and all! i thought if i were able to make a logo and get some tips and tricks about beginning a hatchery of my own, i'd be able to sell even more dragons! (and hopefully become more wealthy, im really poor lol)
if i do somehow make up a hatchery of my own, i'd love to be another one of your affiliates! you're somewhat of an inspiration, so that'd be like, so cool. <3

@eggcactus !!! i would rlly love to help you out! Honestly I did these all by hand from logo to the breeding cards, they arent rlly the best but it was basically something i could do freely without relying on others help or paying the very little stuff as just like you i didnt have much! though even with a hatchery going on, i have some problems spending too much of it by getting the dream apparel that i wanted to dress my dragons up in lol ----- [b]Logo[/b] You would want to design your logo something unique, something you love and something easy for you to draw/design and remember. Make something that captures peoples eye. Colors are also what helps that! Bright and simple colors are a way to go! You can even use an aesthetic as a backdrop and choose one of your favourite dragons to go along with it, with just the name of your hatchery clearly beside the wide open space. If you want a simple logo like one of these just feel free to ask![/size] ----- [b]some other tips[/b] [list] - Make sure you have some simple rules so that ppl can understand - Look at how other peoples hatcheries look how they've been layouted and try to recreate it in your way as possible!! - Visually appealing and as tidy as you can make it, mine is supper jumbled and messy but if you have seperated tabs/posts etc. with specific things in there people will know the way to go! - Ask other hatcheries to become affilaites, like rn you asked me to become one, i am more than happy to do so!!! :D - When your hatchery is up and running try to engage with your customers! Just be yourself! - When you got your main part up and running, just post a lil "WIP' to each post box that you are going to use to display your, ping list, affiliates, dragons for sales, trades, sold, breeding pairs, if you have any extra things you would like to add in there do so!![/list] ----- sorry if some of that didnt make sense, but my BIGGEST tip is using other hatcheries as a reference with layout and rules as well if you cant come up with nearly half of them, make sure with the rules that you can do them yourself!!

one more question about the logos though: how do you exactly create them? i have procreate on my ipad, and painttool SAI on my pc, but i wasn't sure where to post them so i could be able to add the image to the forums/signatures/bios.
also, you're really too sweet! the tips are amazing, and i'd just feel super guilty if you did a logo for me without me paying you in any way! lol <3

@eggcactus No problem :D im always happy to help! there are many ways!! you can use a drawing app to add stuff in or draw the logo yourself! or you can use collage maker and photoshop to create logos without stress and worry of drawing them here is what i use, i use it on phone as it is the only technology i have acces to basically everything! ----- [img]https://i.imgur.com/A3jWvFB.jpg[/img] ----- [b]collage maker[/b] : it has many thingd, it's simple, many fonts you can get, download, some stuff is needed to pay BUT you can get away with it using what they have free available! Definately check it out and test it with a few images for yourself if you havent used it before ----- [b]Pixlr[/b] : An old friend of mine introduced me into this as a way to make icons look fancy and all, it is quite similar to collage maker but it has some other layouts/templayes that you could use that isnt in collage maker! ----- The photo is there to help you indicate what they look like, many apps will also have the same thing! These are just a good place to kind of start and are easy to use even for a beginner! ----- Im always happy to help! It's more of a hobby and something quick and fun to do! There is no need to pay at all!! You have a goal and i am sure that many others are willing to help you reach it! No problem! If there is any other questions, tips etc. feel free to ask!
