PARDON OUR APPEARANCE! CONSTRUCTION IS UNDERWAY, BUT WE'RE STILL OPEN!
There is a place you've been searching for, said to be hidden deep in the Windswept Plateau, where the veil between the worlds is thin. Here, beings from many different universes can cross through to Sorienth, and here sits the cavernous home of the Alnrean Clan. Dragons from all walks of life, and beings from this world and others, call these caverns home.
After traveling through the wilderness for several days, and through thick forest for most of the current day, you finally find a break in the dense vegetation. Stepping from the treeline, you can see the great, gaping maw of a cavern. Two intimidating looking white Gaoler dragons sit on either side of the cavern opening, like living sentinels, and you can see a large emerald colored guardian looking down on you from an outcropping high above.
Sigyn leads you past the Gaoler Guards, who pay you very little mind as you pass, and into the cavern. The air in the cave feels strange, and only gets stranger as you follow the dragoness deeper into the winding tunnels. The whole area feels alive with energy, and you swear you can see the dark stone of the cavern walls change from time to time, out of the corner of your eye.
"I'll be leaving you with my husband once we reach the nursery," Sigyn says, breaking the silence that had fallen over the two of you as you marveled at the size and strangeness of the Alnrean Clan's home. "Our Matriarch has entrusted him with the responsibility of finding our younglings new homes. I should probably explain our expectations to you before we get there, however; Loki often prefers to get right to business."
Rules
Please be kind and respectful.
First come first serve.
Pinglisters have 24hrs to choose a hatchling from a nest before the hatchlings go up for general adoption.
Hatchlings can be held for three days before they go back up for adoption.
All hatchlings will have Wind Eyes.
Hatchlings will be available up until they become adults, at which point they'll either be listed on the AH for fodder price, or exalted.
Hatchlings from lore pairs will be named. Hatchlings from fandragon and miscellaneous pairs will have 'Nicknames' in order to make identification easier. They are, in fact, unnamed, unless otherwise stated.
You will be asked what name you want for any unnamed hatchlings before you receive them, so none of the hatchlings go unnamed.
Most hatchlings are free to adopt, but a fee of 5kt/5g will be added for rare eye types.
Donations aren't required, but are appreciated! Donations of food or treasure help keep the hatchery running.
After explaining the rules of the adoption process, Sigyn leads you around a corner, and you can see a rather odd red-maned pearlcatcher lounging just outside of a side-passageway. Sigyn stops upon seeing him, turns to you and offers you a small smile.
"Here's where I leave you. May the Windsinger bless you, and help you find what you're looking for."
You turn to watch Sigyn go back the way you came, and when you turn back around you're startled to find yourself face to face with the pearlcatcher who'd been lounging in the passageway. Once again, you realize you hadn't heard him approach. He bows to you with a flourish.
Loki grins at you before leading you down the passage, and past the aforementioned Gaolers, who look you over warily, but otherwise leave you alone. You follow the pearlcatcher into the room, and are greeted by a gaggle of hatchlings.
