I've been debating what to do for a hatchery for almost a year now and honestly, I'll probably never decide what I want to do with myself. So, I've been thinking. All these dragons are out here, paired for their looks. Certainly, there is a market to made with that - but you know what I've decided?

[b]my lore .[/b] [font=gabriola] While I don't expect you to keep my lore whatsoever, here is a brief explanation as to how my 'hatchery' functions c: most, if not all of these dragons are bred to my personal taste & may have many possible outcomes. while i know that isn't a popular selling point, this hatchery isn't really about the 'money' for me. yes, flight rising runs on treasure & gems, but i very much love my dergs. I work hard to take care of them and I just didn't feel right mass breeding them just for that reason.
[indent][font=gabriola]- Calanthe, the first dragon to step into the little forest sanctuary, far away from other dragons and harmful events going on in this wild world, founded Athysia, the home of these dragons. She took in strays, helped heal wounded passerby, and little by little, grew a family. Calanthe, sadly, has come to pass as ancient dragons do, but her spirit lives on in the warmth Athysia radiates.
- Subsequently, as love falls in and out of fashion, these pairs won't always be the same; relationships grow and fade, so the pairs you see before you may not always be around, so keep an eye out if you quite adore one of the pair's stories! Muse is always changing, you know.
- Every derg that comes from 'we don't do that here' will have their own backstory. Now, as I've said, you absolutely do not have to keep the lore, however, you're absolutely welcome to include it in your own lair. You needn't give me credit, as my brief display of your new friend will only grow from what I've begun. ♥
- every weekend, friday, for the most part, dergs make their way down to a beautiful oasis called the lunar sound. there, they find their mates, they bed down, and wait for their nests to hatch. Now, dergs likely wouldn't let their children go immediately after they hatch, but for imagination sake, our young hatchlings go through a rite of passage - where they must go on a journey to discover who they are truly meant to be. whether this leaves them at home in Athysia, or it takes them into the great beyonds of somewhere special in new... well, that's part of the adventure, isn't it?
