Lunar wings live in the coldest reaches of the snowsquall tundra, moving with the harshest storms into abandoned nests and towns. Because of their migratory nature, they’ve grown accustomed to scavenging and will repurpose a lot of what is left behind in the towns they encounter. They are a close-knit community who work together to survive. Due to the scarcity of resources, these scavengers will eat just about whatever foods they can get their hands on.
Their bodies are coated in a layer of ice that works as insulation against the harsher climate, allowing them to move freely in even the worst weather. They are attracted to cold, actively avoiding heat as it will melt their protective coat, and tend to sleep in communal areas rather than each to a home.
If ever eggs are found, they are treated with utmost respect & care, all new children are valued. Hatchlings are taught and raised by the healers, before moving on to apprentice under those in their preferred trades.
Magic is a gift given to all of their people, though it manifests in different ways. Some end up with extra strength, some with enhanced healing spells. Whatever the case, they take great pride in showing off the glowing runes on their body, preening those patches particularly well.

We are the children of the full moon, our mother gave us light when others had none. We are the brightest glowing of her children, and love to play. We are friendly and like making jewelry and art with our shed scales to give to other dragons.

We are the children of the new moon; where we lack her light, her darkness gives us strength. We are hunters & warriors who blend into shadows. We are those who explored the coldest reaches of the tundra and came back.

Banevear
That would be awesome, hon.
>>
Too bad i can't get him a matching mate that's not related...
For the time being i only have the one breeding pair in each color so they're all kinda related.
