Have some Hunters. :D
Oddity walked carefully, the splinter in his chest jarring sharply with every hasty step. Through the white mist, he started to see the dim outline of the caravan, and his ears swiveled to follow a sharp sob that he swore came from a hatchling to his right. Somewhere nearby, a body murmured, then coughed, and he had to concentrate his efforts on finding the source of this strangeness, this haze that caused problems just for thinking of them. Much as it hurt him to do so, he had to wait until this was settled before he sought his patients, because until then, who knew what was real, and what was made to seem real from his own imagination? He walked passed the damp tatters of an awning, a broken wheel, the carcass of some beastclan members, which made the forensics of the whole situation slightly easier to understand. His heart beat more sharply in his chest with every step, and his breath became shallow and quick. He felt sweat prickle his brow. He felt, remarkably, afraid. But afraid of nothing. The fog grew more thick, and his thoughts raced wildly as he picked through the wreckage, glad of his own bright scales to stand out against the paleness. Though in this light, they were looking more bloodied, more broken, scarred and blistered as those whose hands he once doctored in his youth-- Stop, he chided himself sharply. Rather than listen to the screaming panic between his ears, Oddity started listing ingredients for his favorite poultices, the ones that worked for burn ointments, then the ones for headaches, then for the rheumy joints of Bordeaux's lineage... As he listed them, he thought of these plants, and they bloomed at his feet. He tried to ignore them as he walked towards what felt the densest portion of the fog, but they brushed his ankles and whispered their names in his ears. Burrs tangled in his fetlocks, and Oddity pressed on until he found a cart upended in a cloud so thick with white tendrils it seemed nearly alive. There, among the scattered canisters and broken crates, sat a small, blue box, split open on its hinges, and laying on its side. It was no bigger than Oddity's palm. Seeing it, he knew. This smooth, white stone, no bigger than a bar of soap, was the culprit. His eyes stared at it, wide as saucers and twice as hungry, and for a long moment he longed to have and keep the thing. He reached down, and he shut it tight within its box. The mist thinned, light penetrating even here, where it had seemed dreamlike and endless in space. He saw how near to the canyon wall he must have stood, and through the mist, a silhouette loomed, large and shaggy against the white blankness. She was a gaoler, and she looked first at Oddity, then at the box beneath his hand. She didn't say a word, only took it, and walked away. "Troublesome thing," he swore she said as she departed. Oddity watched her go, then scrubbed at his chest. The splinter was gone, but the wound remained. He turned away, back towards the wreckage. As the light strengthened, he would return to his task, and hopefully find those who survived. I reserve all rights to change any dragon's body to save on gems, treasure, or otherwise so long as I keep story and connection to previous body within bio. I personally call it transmutation.
@DescendentMoon - You bet! :) I'll send him over now!

Could I get Cabochon and Darcy for gems please? They'd fit perfectly in my lair.

@MeraHunt - Absolutely! Cabachon hasn't been trained, but I'll still send him to you for the discounted rate because he hasn't been in the AH, and I really do not want him in my lair. :)
