"Oh, hello there! Have you ever been to the laboratory before? Well then, let me give you a quick rundown of what you can expect here at Wightspark and fill you in on a few of the rules we have around here.

And please, if you have any questions, do submit them in writing and we will get back to you within 3-12 business days."

♦ All breeding pairs have clan lore attached to them, and thus their offspring will too. Each hatchling will come with a button and a small blurb in their bio; feel free to keep this info, work it into your own lore, or delete it entirely!

♦ All hatchlings will be pre-named to prevent unnamed exalts. If you wish to rename the hatchling for your lair, I will sell you a rename scroll for 2k.

♦ I do not accept reservations for any dragons that have not hatched yet. I am, however, happy to hold a hatchling for you for up to 3 days.

The west wing of Wightspark Manor has been known as the Undercroft for many decades, ever since most of its main structure was swallowed by the collapse of the catacombs that lay beneath it. It is in this dingy, out of sight area that Wightspark’s servants toil, and many call its shabby rooms their home.

Wightspark boasts a very large and well-compensated staff, although in recent years Copperdyme has been doing his best to replace some of the lesser staff with automatons, much to the continued distress of the housekeeper, Liliodium, and the Butler, Mister Castorhall.

Somewhere in the vast desert of the Shifting Expanse, an impenetrable sand storm howls endlessly, swelling high into the sky and crackling with bolts of electricity generated from the build up of static charge. Within the eye of this storm lies an ancient empire of desert dwellers, isolated from the rest of Sorneith.

Once situated around a flourishing oasis, the Fulguri Empire was a bastion of wealth and trade, known for its alchemists and sorcery. However, since the self-imposed seclusion of its capital city, The Chalcedone Throne, the rest of the empire has fallen to ruin, and the city itself has become little more than a moldering temple to the hubris of kings and sorcerers.

Rumor has it that what is left of the empire has recently fallen into a civil war…

The Fulguri Duchess Caliche and her praetorian guard, Ophiolite and Goethite, were exiled from the Throne during the Sorcerous Uprising and the coup that followed. They now refuge within the walls of Wightspark Manor, acting as patrons of research and driving the manor’s scientists toward the dark magic of necromancy - but to what end?

Since then, he has extended his life through foul magics, and though he and his consort, Diaphene, nest on occasion, no heirs have been presented to the public. His daughters, they say, are simply banished, while his sons are rumored to meet a much more violent fate.
