I breed Moonrise dragons and currently have a handful up for sale.

And as a suggestion for the sales post: make it into a spreadsheet? It'd be something similar to how to we log dragons for tickets for our pushes. The breeder posts the dragons id, breed, gender, subspecies, and price.

We could use the drop down menus the trainers, sellers, and storage use to let people know if they're online and modify them as to whether or not a certain dragon is up for grabs, pending for sale, or sold.

Also in regards to the drop down status menus, we could also use them to keep track of whether a pair is RTB, or currently nesting. I feel like this way would allow buyers to request a nest if they see their favorite pair is RTB and so the breeders don't have a bunch of unwanted hatchlings cluttering their lairs/dens just because there isn't any interest in that certain subspecies at the moment.

All of this would be self editing of course. If a breeder wants to sell their subspecies, I think that's more than enough of incentive to keep their info up-to-date on a Sales Spreadsheet.

I suck when it comes to making and coding spreadsheets so this is just an idea. Sales posts are always a good idea in theory but never seem to work out as dragons are bought and sold faster than one person can keep up with. I believe this way would make things less of a hassle for everyone involved and make the whole process less of a one-man project.

Also, if the this thread does eventually go out of date as well, at least the spreadsheets will still exist and all another user would have to do is make another thread such as this one, with all the spreadsheets still intact.

@demonslayr62 You've been listed! And those are some good ideas! I can manage coding spreadsheets all right for the most part, so the hard part will be determining the most useful and user-friendly way to format it. I wasn't sure a self-editing spreadsheet would be useful for sales, but you made some good points. I'll play around with it!

i dont have any pair cards or hatchery, but if i can be added to a list so if someone wants a certain subspecies, i can probably get a nest paired pretty quickly since I have all 5 going at once

The pinglists are for people who want to be pinged by sellers for certain subspecies. As a breeder, instead of being on them, you can use them when selling to notify buyers! Though I JUST made this thread public so they're pretty empty right now haha
