I'm aware, my mistake. As noted I'll ask a mod to move after any initial g1 pinglist interest to avoid leading most people to a 404.

actually moving forums shouldn't break pings anymore if i'm not mistaken, the url in the notif has been changed from something like /baz/9876543#post_1234567 to /permalink/topic/1234567. i don't have mod powers to test this for certain across different boards, it does work across different pages of the same thread
