Hello! I’ve been thinking of opening up commission slots here in FR for gems, but I am unsure how to price them!
Specifically, I want to make simple reference commissions for dragons! The commissions have a simple, cartoony art style and the buyer can specify whether they want details to be simplified, changed, etc to make a dragon look more unique. Here are some examples below:

What would be an appropriate pricing range for these? Should I add more gems to the price depending on how much detail is to be added to the reference? Let me know!

Edit 2: I’m considering adding mini dragon portraits to the list of stuff I could draw! These images are small and have poor resolution, so they will have added shading to make up for that! Due to the resolution, they will be substantially cheaper than the actual references.

I think you should charge a base level of 500g [or 5 dollars] and then price it more based on skin, apparel, or details.

All of my prettiest dragons (and the ones I put the most work into) are in my hibden.

To add onto this post and also to bump it, would anyone be interested in references for Familiars too? The only exception I’d give so far for references would be human-like beastclan familiars, since I struggled with human anatomy, but as time goes on and I practice more, the possibility could open up.
Any opinions for pricing for these?
