howdy folks i'm stanley

i spent ages formatting this thread so by god you bet i'm gonna use it. open for an indeterminate period of time (until i get busy or bored) so get 'em while you can. be sure to check out the rules and examples below. please include a link to the character in question in your request, and don't be upset if i don't reply or turn you down. i'm doing these for my own enjoyment. i only take gems as payment, no items or rlc. ask about treasure. thanks!

as a heads up, i generally try to keep commissions consistent, but i am very prone to experimenting with style and brushes. i will always ensure that the effort i put in matches the price you pay, but the outcome might look a little different each time. the prices listed above are flexible; they're a guideline for what i would like to be paid, not a hard requirement. for this reason, i'm considering my shop 'semi-pwyw'. i am willing to work out a deal with you based on what you think my art is worth.

you are welcome to pay below the listed prices for a sketchy piece or try to bribe me into doing a fully rendered piece. lineless art doesn't cost extra since i enjoy doing it, but i don't do it by default; just specify if you want your piece to be lineless. if you see something you like in the examples above that isn't listed in the prices, feel free to ask me about doing it. i enjoy playing with style and these commissions are just something i do for fun.

please note: i generally won't reply to commission requests sent via pm. i prefer that you post in this thread because it's easier for me to keep track of things here. messages sometimes get messy and are difficult to sort through. i'll admit that i do like the free bumps too. thanks!

@iodine @kaminome that's where the semi-pwyw comes in; probably somewhere in the range of 750 for a head, 1200 for a half. it's flexible and my sketches aren't always completely consistent, as you can see from the examples. some are nicer than others so i don't want to say "yes, this will always be worth this much." in those cases i'd be willing to accept payment afterward based on what you feel it's worth.

i don't know if that makes sense. i just hate changing my tiers constantly as my style changes, so i'd rather just give people an idea of what i want to be paid and let them pay what they want lol.
