@Dr3m1ly thank you! I love them so much. Could the blue on the guardian be a little more saturated? I love how detailed the patterning on them is!!

ok this is kind of a weird request. i'm cool with paying more bucks because of it
desired size: no pref, do whatever ya feel
shading yes/no: up to you
character / item reference image(s): OKAY SO i don't remember if i told you fearlock's backstory but basically he steals artifacts from timelines and resells them once they collapse.
i'm thinking - i don't think he would've sold everything, he probably has a small collection of really useful stuff. so i wanted to kind of give you an open ended idea to design some sort of abstract artifact that's in his personal collection. specifications are up to you, but generally he'd try to keep things that could help him escape bad situations like people realizing he's scamming them. it's numbers-based magic, so artifacts can do literally anything and Be literally anything, so there's a ton of freedom here.
tl;dr:
- artifact should have a power useful in escaping or avoiding
- probably should be multi-use (so not a onetime drink, but maybe a flask that does refill is fine)
- probably should be small so he can keep it on himself easily
- specifics and details of artifact could be anything. no extreme amounts of detail (i don't have the stamina to draw metric tons of filigree for example)
posing / blocking / composition / etc preferences: up to you. i'm open

@kolokitten gotcha! i can definitely design an artefact for fearlock, that sounds like fun! low-detail suits me fine, there's only so much i can cram into pixel art anyway.
under the circumstances, i think i'd charge 500g for this, as i'd likely have to shade an inanimate object to give it depth.
i'm a cashier this time around, so you can send the money straight to me if that's easier!

@kolokitten help i had too much fun. i definitely don't have an entire text file of artefact ideas now.
i designed Two items because i really couldn't decide which to draw. (they were originally supposed to lean against each other in a single image, before i realised that would put the scale of the lure....way off lmao):
master fisher's lure: it's unknown what fish this shiny lure's deceptively golden sheen was designed to attract, but its usefullness extends beyond fishing. anything, living or dead, the lure's barbed hook digs into will weigh next-to-nothing for so long as the lure remains attached.
(i originally intended it to be brass, but then i realised that with copper being poisonous and the properties of zinc being undefined, that might be unwise. also not sure how alloys would work, especially mixing poisonous and non-poisonous metals, so?)

dagger of deflection: this parrying dagger is anything but simple. its black, glassy blade is transparent, though you'd be lucky to get a glimpse of it through the pointed mirrors which constantly encircle it. this dagger befuddles the mind of would-be attackers, causing them great difficulty in precisely locating the weilder. (shown with and without mirrors)

@Antimoany
THESE ARE SO AWESOME... I LOVE THEM!! i love how creative they are too, this is EXACTLY the kind of stuff i wanted!! the lure is such a great little escape tool and the dagger is SO cool i love the mirrors!! you have Blown my expectations out of the water!!!

my answer for this might be kind of cheesy or handwavy but metals that are alloys in numbers actually are naturally-occuring, so you could just find some brass out there in the wild chillin'. it has slightly different properties than human brass but is similar enough that you can think of them interchangeably, just that numbers-brass isn't an alloy. there are some exceptions to this - numbers steel is partially made of iron, but it's naturally-occuring when veins of iron come into contact with - actually i'm derailing the thread lol THANK YOU REGARDLESS

What is a Tumblargan?
As (not) explained by Tsumei, a Tumblargan is a pseudodragon that has chameleon-esque qualities and changes its look to match your own! It can pick any size to match its owner, and likes the type of food the owner does. This is an optional lore, and just for fun for the fundraiser.
