(1-3 paragraphs) [/b] ~~~~~~~ [/size] [size=3][i]Malthus stood in the dark alley. His wings were spread, ready to take off at any moment. The little hatchling wiped his face with his dirty claws, trying to be tough. The target, his target, would arrive at any moment. Malthus just wanted to go home. But he was hungry, and hunger doesn't let anyone relax. With some nice treasure, he could eat. He closed his eyes briefly, pretending there was food. Then he heard claws on the street and opened his eyes, waiting for the right moment. The dragon walks past. Taking a deep breath, Malthus stepped into the street, joining the hubbub. He stays close, but not too close to his target. Studying the dragon carefully, Malthus notes the placement of the dragons bags. Slowly he reaches his claws out. Snapping them shut around the bag, he carefully takes it, shoving the pouch into his pocket. He felt like he was on fire as he tried to walk out of the area calmly. He didn't understand why all the dragons weren't chasing him. Had he really managed to do it? Managed to steal? Guilt, worry and a tiny bit of pride filled him. Finally he was clear of the area. Leaning on a tree he inspected the pouch. Hopefully, he wouldn't have to steal ever again. Hopefully.
