Alrighty, I got a sketch done

I tried making the top down view but it looked really funky, so unfortunately the side view is all I can do. I also had a bit of trouble with the head shape but I tried to make it like the reference images the best I could - I hope this doesn't bother you too much, I could try to re-do something if you don't like it

Doryu I think you have a great start, I especially adore the fat tail! :D
I understand the difficulty of trying to draw the head + the above view (which is why I'm not drawing it myself ^^; ), so I tried looking up some clear references you could use to draw it? I'm really depending on both side and top down views so, if possible, would you be willing to try and just letting me know? ;w;

So sorry I wasn't able to get much progress done yesterday! I got kinda busy and caught up with things
But, I have made progress today - I'm trying to get the markings complete

I'm trying to stick to the markings in the image you provided, but some spots are a bit difficult to see so I tried to make similar markings
If there's anything you don't like about them, let me know and I'll change it before moving on to the top view

hey id do this for free or cheap i like the idea if ur still open here are examples of me art. i onlt draw on this site called flipanim but idk if that will be a hindrance i also have adobe but im still learning it

Doryu Oh it looks great so far! I realised the type of beardy morph I was looking at is actually the leatherback, so I dug up some references for the patterns on the back!

As for it so far, I do actually have a few small notes! Would you be okay with removing the fingers from the top down view? I am thinking that the top is smooth! The only other thing would be, could you add a redish maroon shade on the underside of the wing?
Other than that, I am really happy with the progress so far!
