Abandoned by those who should have loved you, you had nowhere to turn. Taken in by those deemed weak, unworthy, you vowed to protect them – with your life, if you must. Remain wary of the rest, for it is as your mother says: Their folly will be their downfall. Your mate reads beside you, glistening darkly. He is the moon, casting a gentle light over the land to guide you in the dark. Beautiful, yet deadly as his mushrooms. Run a gentle claw over his wing and remind yourself why you still fight.

“Dark-hearted,” they say, but the wind blows cold and harsh over their own hearts, and they do not understand. You were not born this way; actions have consequences, and you are a result of the blood and death all around. This world is a harsh one, and no one knows this better than you. “Black hearts are born,” they say, but you know the truth: They are charred in the darkness of the everlasting fire of war. Burn the candle at both ends, but do not act surprised when your hand catches aflame.

Wind the music box up, let it sing. Killed before you could take your last breath, you haunt those responsible for your death. Wander through the halls of the palace of your home; there is no life here. You cannot escape. Find your shattered heart and walk among the mortal realm once more. The Weaver of Light has no use for the dead – you are too tainted for her glory. Sing a little song of life, dance a little dance of death. Be not free from your shattered prison, for you are destined to walk among the living for eternity. Eight spindly legs move uselessly for a moment before pulling the hatchling to the remnants of their eggshell. Moving with an instinct passed down for millennia, the hatchling – not quite a dragon – begins to consume their own eggshell, short tusks flashing in the dim light. The eggshell is eaten quickly and quietly, and when the hatchling is finished, they cough up a round ball of a pearly sheen. A cloven front leg holds the ball still as the hatchling places their forehead directly onto the ball’s surface. A flash of magic can be seen for miles; it lasts for only a second, and when it is finished the ball has fused with the hatchling’s forehead in a ritual as old as time. A new Stardrape has been born. They (or on occasion, she) have never felt at home in the air, preferring to remain on the ground, among the company of books. They can see ghosts – or rather, the dragons that ghosts once were. You see, all ghosts look like dragons, sure, and most even keep their former appearance. But can everyone claim to look at a ghost and see images of that dragon as they were when they were alive? To see scenes of them sitting by a nice warm fire, or raising hatchlings, or trading valuables? Alruccabah can. They have an understanding of ghosts that few others match. Ghosts seem to sense this and tend to steer clear of them – whether out of respect or fear is unknown. Abandoned by his parents as a hatchling for being too soft on his enemies, Martyn was forced to wander from his home near the Rotrock Rim. He braved the dangers of the Boneyard and the Contagion, making his way through the Tangled Wood and into the Hewn City of Light. There, he met his future family: A Seer named Nephelle and a librarian by the name of Alruccabah. The couple took the strange hatchling in, shielding him from the calculating gaze of the clan’s leader and teaching him the ways of knowledge. Martyn grew up to be wise beyond his years, drinking in his parent’s beloved books and his mother’s knowledge of the future. In return, he vowed to use his training from his early days to protect his family. One day, a stranger wandered into the Mori Clan, bleeding heavily from wounds along his side and missing a wing. The wildclaw, a Lesser Crow named Strainet, had run into a pack of Effluvial Crows and suffered heavily. Martyn was immediately taken by the other, and worked long and hard to gain his trust and affections. Like his mother, Martyn holds little love for his clanmates beyond his family. He holds little love for his heritage as well, blaming Crows for his and his sister's abandonment and the near-death of his beloved mate. He can often be found reading with his parent and mate and fortune telling with his mother using his only link to the past, a gilded coin made by his powerful father. He refuses to tell Strainet’s future, afraid of what he’ll find. She holds no love for her clan, with exception of her mate, Alruccabah, and believes it will end in nothing but ruin. She is regarded as enigmatic by the majority of her clanmates, as she typically hides out in the library or her temple ruins. The bones on her head and back are those of an ancient Seer, and help her harness her Sight. Nephelle Sees visions in her pearl, as it is an extension of her soul. She often lights fragrances made by Alruccabah in an attempt to drown out the outside world, and holds life itself in little regard.
But it felt so right, whispered a part of her mind. Just like the dances.

@Pac1fity Honestly, it would depend on how long of one you wanted.^^ And I know my prices are kind of steep, but it really does take time and effort to write, and I didn't want to underprice myself anymore.

@myriadofstars
I need a shorter one, just few longer sentences (around 100 words or less) will do
I won't complain about the price since I wrote lore for some of my dragons myself and I know it's painfull (especially when you have NO idea what you are doing, Like me)

Andd i personally like your way of writing so i thought about something for Haske. I have no idea what to write about him ;-; I want him to enjoy life, be too confident, careless and sometimes make stupid decisions. If this build doesn't suit you at all, you can make something up yourself! I won't be mad :>

@Pac1fity 100 words would be 100kt/g, or 80kt if you'd like an aesthetic drabble. And sorry if I came off as rude or anything, I swear that wasn't my intention!

Aww, thank you, that means a lot! Ooh he looks very interesting; I'd love to write about him!

(Also I know I apologize a lot, but I'm sorry about any extra spaces in either our conversation or my writing; my spacebars acting up.)
