I like this on a lot of the breeds (this is especially lovely on male Veilspuns), but there are some that definitely have some... questionably choices going on with how their markings are placed or shaped. The worse offender is the male Snapper, with the markings making zero effort to follow wing contour. :/ The background wing is even worse than the one in the foreground.

Male Coatls also have wonky placement where it probably should have just been made a skinnier mark - the middle one, where it's touching the edge despite this not being standard across the other breeds. Only other one I saw with the marking touching the wing edge was Everlux females. (I'm not counting touching tears or feather splits that go into the wing.)

The unfortunate thing is I am assuming this isn't considered an 'error.'

This is kind of a bummer :( It could look real nice if they were more breed-appropriate!

i want to like tertiary genes so bad, but can we please stop putting arbitrary splotches of color in places where they don't need to be. magpie would have been an absolutely peak gene without the random color on the dragons' faces. the stripe on the back is pushing it too, but i can see where it technically works out. so many great tert genes get ruined by this exact phenomenon, and it's disheartening every single time

Ooo, I actually did it after all — I changed her gene, and she looks so soft now
It suits her insanely well [emoji=familiar heart size=1]

I really like it!
This dragon is displaying an cosmetic effect.
What follows is the item description:
Sometimes, you just gotta practice your scales. This item applies a scintillating pattern of reflective scales to just the body of one dragon.
Like apparel, skins, and scenes, effects are purely cosmetic items that can be added and removed from dragons at any time.
