The blocky hover highlight on the left menu? The fact that everything's now both too big and small?

Yeah the highlight is kind of ugly. I know why they did it but was there no better way to implement something like that?
"everything is too big and too small at the same time" feels like the running theme of this update. It looks like they actually just pushed a fix for the thread title being smaller than the author's name but the text is still just way too large as a whole on both the main forum page and on topic lists.

Thank you for the new layout! It looks amazing, and is so easy to navigate!

Coming back to say that the site is starting to feel like it's losing its flair. Not to be whiny, but it's no longer feeling like a whimsical dragon collecting and breeding game. It's... I don't know, it just does not feel like how it used to.
I get this is something new and you're dipping your toes into new waters, but please don't deviate from the themes of it being a dragon game. [emoji=aether sad size=1]

Heavily agree.
I just checked the lair pages, and the dragons are so small now, in size and drowned out by the rest of the new UI.
Why does this site continue to try to make my words and dragons so small.
What else is supposed to be the focus, then?
Honestly.

I like some of the updates, but now like .. it feels more idk .. less fun? I much prefer the older layout.
I'm having the issue of tabs not saving to the spot where they are moved, and that's rather annoying to the point i have to have all my dragons in one tab or else it bothers me. Please fix that lol

As much as I appreciate the new dark mode and the mobile compatibility, a couple of the more minor changes really bother me.
Why is everything rounded now?? I know it's the modern style, but it bothered me when Apple did it and it bothers me now. It makes me think of childproofing a house, we won't hurt ourselves on sharp corners I promise :(
The user overview tab in the top right and which waystone are really my biggest issue though. I like that the user tab has the settings more visible now, but I wish the achievements and beastiary were still there. And the waystone icon is now more inconvenient to get to than the link under the library tab.

These numbers are barely legible to me :( It seems there are multiple accessibility issues with this change along with just downgrades in aesthetic presentation.

This is not intended and already forwarded to the engineers!

This is a really big change, and it's clear that a lot of time and effort went into it, but I honestly prefer the old style- both visually and practically. The icons for the new version doesn't read as effortlessly as it did for the old menus, and the locations of some of the stuff doesn't make sense now. I really think you should have an option in Settings to choose the old look of it if you want to, because given the choice I'd love to switch back. Most of the site loves it, so it's clear that your efforts resulted in a resounding success, so I feel like the way it is now should be the default for the site, but again, a setting to change it back would go a long way for the people who really dislike it.
Edit: After playing for a few hours... it's bad. Half of the stuff here is far less accessible than it was before. It feels like you were so worried about the mobile players that you way overcorrected and made it terrible for any computer players. The new clan art is awesome, and the commas in the treasure are great, but that's about it for the stuff I like. Most of it is just ugly now, especially the new UI in the upper right corner. It's boring, doesn't use the space well, is harder to read than the other one was, and it's clunky. Most of the things that were changed feels like a decided downgrade. For those who like it- great! But I've seen a lot of people saying that it made the game practically unplayable for them, and I can see why.

The new layout is... alright? I'm sure that some of these changes just feel weird because I've been here forever and I'm too used to the old layout, but I'm really not a fan of some of the new fonts-- they're harder on the eyes than they used to be-- or how lifeless some of the new buttons look. Dragon profiles are pretty sloppy-looking now, unfortunately, when they looked totally fine and polished before the update.
I think the revamped website has promise, and I can imagine that it took a lot of hard work to get this all up and running! But there are a few rough spots, as people have noted, so hopefully those can get smoothed out in time.
