I adore Kaiju and it makes perfect sense to me for Light to produce the most Godzilla/Pacific Rim themed dragon, because of course they would be from Light.
I also love love love bug dragons, as I love being in Lightning flight mostly because my Deity is literally a bug dragon.
Not every dragon produced needs to be to everyone's taste. I personally am not a fan at all of Dusthides, but my response is to just not really have many in my lair. It took me a bit to find a liking for Sandsurges too.. As my response to most people with most social media these days. If you don't like a subject that isn't hurting anyone, just keep scrolling.

Both of mine that hatched are in the centepede range if you want to look at them. I only play sporadically so open to rehoming one if one meets your project desires

In my opinion, they are VERY light coded. The light flight is made of scholars, and knowledge seekers, and librarians. It's always been insanely bookish. And while that means we get things inspired by angelic beings and ethereal stars, I like the focus on the other side of "light". The dusty libraries lit by warm lanterns. Dragons on a window bench in dappled sunlight. The soft shuffle of these small brilliant caterpillars flitting around the libraries and classrooms doing archival work and maintenance on tomes and delicate old pages. Maybe even using their tails (I need glow on them stat) to make out a faded word on a worn page.
They are creators, and artists, and makers, and learners. That feels pretty "Light Flight" to me :)

Wow - 142 pages, and I'm surprised no one brought up trying to scry a Mizutsune (Monster Hunter) in regards to the sunsail gene! Not an [i]exact[/i] match I know, but the general frilled-head + tail vibe is there, so that's what I thought of initially!
