Was there any consideration of flight dominance efforts and how they often rely on mass-pinging flight members to make them aware of community activities? This is going to make organizing dominance significantly harder.

For the most part, I'm actually pretty psyched about this system, because I no longer have to deal with my google sheet pinglists and adding/removing people myself. This is a great idea to have as a site feature since pinglists are just so popular to use pretty much across the board, from subspecies threads to hatcheries to events etc.

I'm a bit concerned about the new pinglist feature in regards to some of the larger, more complicated ping systems developed by groups such as AEG1S and GASP, which allow you to sign up for multiple pinglists through a Google Form and generate pinglists for very specific conditions. How will those systems transfer to the new in-house forum pinglists?

hm, the fact that only the pinglist creators can actually use it to ping users alongside limiting manual pings to 12 per post is going to make pings for sales extremely difficult. stuff like pinging for accents/skins, gen 1s, rare ids, etc are all done with sellers using pinglists set up and maintained by other users. so if I want to be pinged whenever people are selling a dragon of a certain parameter (like for consecutive string IDs), this would no longer be possible. not sure if I'm a huge fan of the new limitations.

Super excited for this update! Like many others I am concerned about mass pings being removed though, since there are so many pinglists that different people use to reach a specific group (such as the previously mentioned Gen 1 pinglists and for dom stuff).

So no more GASP pings?

Edit: There are enough concerns voiced already and I think mine sounded pretty harsh bc I'm too tired to control my speech so I'd better remove it alltogether qvq
Look, I'm overall super hyped abt on-site pinglists, I hate interacting with people to ask to LET ME IIIIIIN and - which is even worse!! - to remove me from the pinglists. This is a great feature, but theres's just too many player-based things on this site depending on one-time customiseable pinglists
Also, new skin uploading and reprinting system? Now THIS is great in every aspect!
