I was wondering too. This is especially important for hatching a nest, since I didn't have one incubating before now. An event under 5 days would prevent players in my situation from getting that squared off.
Other than that, I'm pretty happy with the announcement - definitely a breath of fresh air and maybe we won't get site lag like we do most years!
