This gene is kinda lazy ;/, doesn't react with colours much either, only with copper and tarnish it seems to have some sort of interesting reaction... Gembond in this case is looking much better in my opinion.
I like the fams tho :D, especially the Guardian Foo, he looks so pretty! :D

So like... Why is the gene so messy, though? Why not do it as clusters of scales, similar to gembond (except daintier)? Do it along the shoulders/back/rump/cheeks.
