this tert makes me feel itchy

New gene, nice. And new familiars!

i have no words for that gene, except that the way it pokes out makes me extremely uncomfortable. i feel like it could work in certain prim/sec genes (mostly thinking of the scaly ones), but the examples here were uh, not very nice looking.

but hey, look at 'em new fams! adorable!

Can I just say how happy I am that this gene is called Keel? Time to [b]Keel[/b][i]haul[/i] all my pirate dragons arrrr! Not really... [emoji=pirate hat size=1]

Im not touching this gene with a six foot long pole, but at least we get some pretty recolors!

Would have loved it if the tert could follow the actual dragon's anatomy instead of looking like stickers slapped on top that don't even resemble the actual scales of each breed.
It just looks lazy.

Scales on the wing membrane and horns, seriously?

Edit, not to be completely salty. I can see this being useful as ice crystals for all kinds of ice flight dragons, but besides that. Welp.

I can see the uses for this but uhhhh... this isn't how anything works and as a reptile/especially snake person I'm suffering inside with all the errors.

Scales in real reptiles all go in the same direction (this is why snakes get mad at you if you pet them backwards. it hurts them.), and even on the pointiest of keeled scaled reptiles, they don't look like they are literally poking through the skin. Scales are also essentially hardened skin which... doesn't go on feathers, fur, or wing membranes.

I love FR and its art and I hate to be negative about it, but this is really, really, really not how anything works and this would've been at the very least much better named similar something to gembond and not claimed as scales.

I love the new familiars though.
