The genes remind me of a revamped basic, but I'll cherish them nonetheless :)

I do agree - this is a good complaint on these genes. It's one that I love on certain breeds, but on the ones you listed - the Skydancer doesn't bother me so much, but the Guardian and the Wildclaw's wings aren't really artfully distributed. In some colors, the gradient is so extreme that it looks like there's three colors - inner third, middle, outer third? But in others - most of them, really - the middle and outer third look entirely flat, and the result is unbalanced.

Sadly, I have to agree with these. I'm sorry to say it, but it looks rushed, and given the timing of this, I'm kinda getting the impression that it was. I know that the staff are trying to keep people happy but listening to what people are asking for would do that a bit more effectively than rushing out new genes that aren't executed with the kind of care and attention to detail that we know you guys are capable of.
