I think the new gene is pretty cute. Not my favorite by any means, but it can save many dragons that have a "bad tert" :) I've been wanting a more subtle tertiary gene that can hide or save not so desired tertiary colors like spines does, so I think it's a nice addition, even tho the gene looks more like an apparel to me ^^" I can still come up with some nice lore ideas that would make it an actual gene, like: the dragon secretes some sort of pheromone that would attract fireflies or that they can control them etc!
