TOPIC | Stained: A Tertiary Gene
I was sceptical at first, but after getting a few Gen1s I have come to like and appreciate Stained very much. There's one Gen1 I would most likely exalt or try to sell (Shadow/Coal/Tomato just doesn't work for me), however Stained turns this dragon into a permanent resident. I personally only care for the final result of a project.

Now that I've got a couple of Stained dragons in my lair, I think like any other gene, it has it's place on the right dragon. It might help with some weird terts, but so far I'm more willing to wait for more genes to play with before I invest in Stained for that reason.
I used it very specifically and I'm thrilled with the results because it gave just the right look to my Luna Moth pair. But they are probably the only ones I'll have with that gene right now.
