@Gatoraiden, there is no registration date as of right now. This quote from Undel talks about the site optimizations they're working on:
It is another step to allowing us to have open registration. It's going to optimize parts of the site to use less resources. :) When we open a reg window we'll be sure to post to the front page and all our social media several days in advance so everyone knows its coming.
It's important that the site runs smoothly before registration windows are opened. :)
@Undel, it just seems like you guys only addressed the stuff that's usually a little blurb at the end of a news update with new content. Some of that stuff has been noticed for awhile, like the augment stones. Why couldn't that have been tagged along with the latest news update and have other issues addressed here?
I really miss the first Words of the Wind format where Xhaz answered a dozen questions. I don't understand why you guys are so bent on changing it. For awhile it just seemed like the staff's personal blog where you guys just rehashed the news, so I guess this is a step in the right direction.
It's disappointing. If we do count the optimization news as user concerns (though I'd still argue that they could be bottom-of-the-news bullets), then you've addressed a grand total of four things and reannounced the Swipp contest.
I agree with this sentiment, I would much prefer the original way of doing WotW instead of this watered-down version. A lot of concerns are voiced but never answered, if we bring them up in the forums here or on other sites they just...get brushed aside it feels like.
It's discouraging to say the least and very frustrating when we ask so many questions and get basically nothing or stuff we already know.
But I guess yay for the penny jars being back and good luck to anyone entering the contest.

Words on the Wind, Vol 8 will be released in early October 2014 due to scheduling conflicts.
Clarification? Will there be other news posts every day in September, causing a scheduling conflict? How can there be a scheduling conflict every single day for the next month?

@Shara, the first Words on the Wind was before the sticky in Flight Rising Discussion, which has become a pipeline to the Admin for the players. That said, I want to thank you for your feedback and it is something we will keep in mind for future editions.
Words on the Wind is discussed among all of the staff of Flight Rising. As we stated in July's edition, some months will be more community spotlights when there is no new information on certain topics. Or some topics (such as this month) may have a solution in place to address them rather than a talking point.

@Reign, to put it simply - my wedding and honeymoon are at the end of September and I will not be around to manage it. The Admin team approved this change in the schedule, and this will move Words from being at the end of the month to the beginning of the month.

Caitirri: A long long time ago, I can still remember, err... There used to be a Swipp Swap where you could trade 9 empty broken jars for a new broken penny jar (which contains 100treasure). However, there was a bug that caused items obtained through Swipp to start their own pile in your hoard, rather than stacking on top of an already existing pile. So if you had loads of broken bottles, and you traded them for penny jars, you'd have to open them all individually, (rather than using that nifty box bottom in the lower left corner of the item, that causes you to open all items in that stack). Because of that inconvenience the swap was temporarily disabled until a fix was found. You can find more info in Swipp trades in his encyclopedia page under Library in the left-hand menubar! c;

Hey @
Aequorin, @
Undel, @
Xhaztol, @
Akiri... what about Baldwin's Brew and Adventure mode?
I know y'all are trying to do optimization fixes (though we really have no idea what you mean by that general term) but keep in mind the userbase
was promised these features in the Kickstarter
more than a year ago. The Kickstarter members (and anyone who buys gems) are paying customers, and you have a duty to keep them updated with information on the features that they were promised when they
gave you their money. I can think of no other business in which these types of practices (no transparency whatsoever) would be considered okay.
