[center][size=7][font=s]GENES[/size] Raptors have a total of three main colours: Base, primary and secondary. Base is the colour of the base which everything is drawn on top of, for example, the raptor below has a [b]tan[/b] base colour. Primary is the colour of the gene which is on top of the base; The raptor below has a [b]white[/b] primary. Secondary is the colour of the long feathers on the crest, wings, legs and tail, which is [b]brown[/b] on the example raptor. [center][size=7][font=s]BODY TRAITS[/size] Body traits alter lineart and change how your raptor looks. [b]Body traits come in "sets," [/b]meaning that every trait will have two other matching traits. This is similar to how every primary gene in FR has a matching secondary (eg. Piebald/paint). All body traits appear only where your raptor's secondary colour is, which include the crest, wings, and tail. Because leg feathers are so small, they are [b]grouped[/b] with the tail. This means if you get a tail trait from the Battle set, you'll get leg feathers from the Battle set with it. When your raptor is generated, each body trait will be randomly selected from every set, meaning you can get a raptor with traits from multiple sets. All body trait sets have an equal chance of being generated. All eyes and mouths have an equal chance of being generated. [b]Common genes[/b] 59.5% [b]Rare genes[/b] 30% [b]Epic genes[/b] 10% [b]One of a kind genes[/b]: 0.5% If your raptor rolls a gene with the rarity [b]rare[/b] or higher, there is a 50% chance of it coming with a common gene layered beneath it. This gene will never be available again afterwards, and the next available overlay gene will be new and never seen before! [b]A one of a kind gene[/b], also known as an [b]overlay gene[/b], is an extremely rare gene that layers on top of the base, primary [i]and[/i] secondary.
