I was wondering if it would be possible to get a blank pre-formatted sheet at some point (one that you can make a copy of on your own google drive or save on your computer), with spaces laid out and labelled for collecting seeds, tracking discarded seeds and what they made, dragon id seeds, and possibly some of the free ones from the initial post already added. Like voidbeast said, not that big of a deal, just something that might be nice as a helpful resource for the gardens. I'm terrible with sheets and excel, or I'd offer to make one myself! a spreadsheet would be a great idea. im not sure if its possible to fully dummy-proof one because even with some of the heavily automated sheets i still get overwhelmed, but there's some badge trackers out there that are pretty simple to use and understand (im only familiar with the one for wyrmwound wonders but i know some of the flight badge and gacha adopts have examples you can peek at as well).

I don't know if its planned or anything, but a good suggestion would maybe be a way to choose the amount of grass? Like if somebody wanted to make a small garden there would be an option to only have a bit of grass instead of a bunch of 'empty' space. It now comes with optional smart spacing, and generating grass is now (properly) optional. Also, of course there's only so many plants you can put in a garden before there's no way to keep them nicely spaced...any plants added after that point are placed randomly. But this should serve well for most cases, I hope! [*]New way of getting plants, kind of!
