The Frozen Lake[/b] This appears to have once been a vast lake, with cities all along its edge, but it has been frozen solid into a strange ice that cannot melt. Because this area has the best visibility, the Luminings with the dullest of lights tend to lurk here. [b]Cost: Restocking[/b] [b]Tier II. The Gardens[/b] Almost no plants remain, only the intricate containers they once sat in. If someone were to make their way to the very back of the Gardens, however, a single red rose lies encased in a thin layer of ice, somehow still alive. Thanks to the difficulty of navigating through the maze-like Gardens, the Luminings in the area tend to have more and brighter lights. [b]Cost: Restocking[/b] [b]Tier III. The Royal Palace[/b] Although parts of what was once the royal palace has collapsed as a result of years of being battered by snow and ice, a small portion of the palace remains relatively untouched. It is incredibly difficult to see inside the dark ruins, so the palace has attracted many of the Luminings with the brightest lights. [b]Cost: Restocking[/b] [b]Tier IV. The Temple[/b] The snow is falling so heavily here that you can barely see an inch in front of you. It’ll be impossible to forge forward at this rate. Perhaps you should come back later. The higher the cost, the likelier you are to get a Lumining of higher rarities. (Not sure what rarities are or how they affect Luminings’ appearances? A RNG will be used to determine what rarity you will receive, and then rolled once again to determine which Lumining from that rarity pool you will receive. They are split into two main subspecies: Dreams and Nightmares. [b]Dreams[/b] are Luminings who use their light to guide travelers to safety. Their appearance consists of mainly light colors, and their lights manifest in the form of halos encircling their body parts. [b]Nightmares[/b] are Luminings who use their light to guide travelers to their doom. Their appearance consists of mainly dark colors, and their lights manifest in all sorts of shapes: sometimes butterflies, sometimes chains, or even just orbs of light. Beyond just colorings and the form their lights manifest in, Dreams and Nightmares differ in another aspect of physical appearance as well: Traits. [size=4][b]What are Traits?[/b][/size] Traits consist of certain physical features of Luminings. The presence of traits determines the rarity of the Lumining. They will be explained in further detail below. [size=4][b]The Rarity System[/b][/size] There are four levels of rarity when it comes to Luminings: Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary. [b]Common[/b] Luminings have the dullest of lights, and the simplest of designs and traits: Their design, excluding their lights, are constrained to the limits of the basic base. [b]Uncommon[/b] Luminings have slightly brighter lights, and unlike their Common counterparts, have at least one Uncommon trait.
