Those born during this festival have been discovered to be already aligned to the Lightning Element, and feature an usual marking over their left hip never seen before! Any posted this week will be already aligned to Lightning, and feature a Lightning symbol, exclusive to TCC! Maigyami are mammals about the size of a ferret. While not magical themselves, they are drawn to magical beings or sources. They resemble a small rodent with a long, flexible body, cat-like claws that allow them to climb very well, and their three tails are strong and prehensile. They come in short-haired, silky, and fluffy varieties, and while natural patterns like brindles, calicos, and stripes, are most common, they come in every color and pattern one can imagine. And if they form a strong bond with a being possessing elemental magic, they sometimes develop [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/adopt/2876708#post_43742352]physical manifestations of their owner's elemental alignment[/url]. Just like their patterns, Maigyani's temperaments vary widely. Some keep them as pets or companions, and some Maigyami lend themselves well to this purpose, but others view them as pests. They are invariably curious, and can easily cause trouble if they decide to mess with magical items that attract them. Maigyami can be found in any world where Magic is common. Their pattern type and fur type will be based on RNG, and I have listed them below. Once purchased, I can adapt your pet to lineart for a specific element, as Maigyami do sometimes develop these traits if they form a bond with an elemental being. Occasionally a Maigyami may come with a change or addition to their lineart. These will be rare, as I'll only add one if I have the inspiration for one, and it will not carry on to their offspring if bred. Results will be unaligned, so the elemental traits will not be passed on, but you can request that they become aligned for the normal charge to do so. [*][b]Plague:[/b] Plague aligned Maigyami frequently develop pus-filled boils similar to those sported by Plague Primal dragons, or an infection by a fungus resembling cordyceps, but this depends on the particular alignment of their owner. (I can do both, or just one of the two.) These curiously do not appear to be detrimental to the Maigyami, or uncomfortable at all. [*][b]Earth:[/b] Earth aligned Maigyami lose their fur in patches and their skin appears to turn to rock, studded with jewels. The jewels can be any color. Though these portions of the Maigyami now resemble and feel like rock, and even appear to crack and crumble like stone, their movement is not affected and they seem not to notice. They gain the ability to see well in the dark, and they often serve as dim light sources for their owners when needed. (I can do slightly different shades of the snow if requested, otherwise it will be the white color shown because snow is usually white.) They develop a disliking for heat, and sometimes become able to freeze small items or areas if they wish. (They will likely be the normal reds, oranges, and yellows, though I may occasionally choose something different, or you can request a color.)
